Ladies,

I need help deciding what to do about chair sashes and table runners. I have found a lady that is going to make our exact colors for a really good price. Our colors are pink, gold & ivory. can't decided if I want to do all the table runners pink and all the chair sashes gold. Or if I want to mix and match. Some tables pink runner & pink chair sashes and others gold on gold. What do you ladies think? Which would look better?

Hi Hdinsmor

There are some beach bags at the dollar store. With hot glue and seashells (which they also sell at the dollar store) you can make personnalized OOT bags.

we are also doing OOT bags and giving out at the resort. so far my additions are flip flops, key holders, and first aid kits. Travel mugs still to be added (should really order soon) and welcome letter. I am officially on the planning. On another note, gonna get fitted for my dress this weekend, I am looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time. happy to finally see this dress that i bought blindly on sale for $500 without trying on and yet so nervous I will not like it because although I've tried on dresses in a similar style I am yet to try and feel this dress. wish me luck guys.

Subbi your quote sounds just like my life. LOL. I found cheap lanyards at eBay but haven't bought any yet. Found some shot glasses, really need to order those too, hope they dont break in transport. Where are you getting your first aid kits from? I'd like to do a hang over kit with them. I also just got fitted for my $300 over my budget dress in which I blindly purchased without trying on because the sample size was a 2( who is a 2 in wedding dress sizes that's like a double zero) anyway I am happy to tell you the fitting went great and I loved my dress! I have full confidence yours will be great too :>)

Soo.. went to Ami-Fer (bridal shop) to tell them I wanted to transfer my 250$ deposit from  my rental dress onto my MOH dress last Thursday and .. the ass. manager went bizerk. I've explained that the owner told me it was possible  when I made my deposit, still she almost called me a liar. Kept my cool and calmly explained I wasn't gonna loose my money. She agreed to transfer the deposit on another wedding dress. I then told her I need a short wedding dress which I know bridal store carry very few (ususally less than 10 models). They showed me dresses that I wouldn't even wear at my own funeral and still the minimum price was 300$! She finally let me pick  a dress from the party section.

Wow, whenever you say wedding all of the sudden, ther's no refund and people try to screw you over on one of the most important day of your life!

So guys here is a pic of me and my dress, I bought this dress on sale $500 without trying it on about 3 months ago in toronto. Finally made the 5 1/2 hours trip to try it on, here is the end result. What do you guys think? My initial reaction was great but I think it is missing something but it have all these ruffles in it i think if I add anything more to it, it would be overkill. would welcome some suggestions.

...ignore my facial expression...LOL

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
