I'm slightly nervous too I've only heard from the Dreams WC only once in the last 5 emails I sent but then I come on here and read how that's how they operate and then everything turns out okay. :) so I'm trying not to worry. Have you tried calling her? When I need some info asap I called instead and got thru immediately. When is your wedding?

Hello all my September lovelies, I've been really busy lately getting all my stuff together as well as designing some invitations for a friend with a september deadline. My countdown has reached 56 days can't believe how time flies.

Kabee unfortunately I am using flowers as my topper and haven't been looking for cake toppers in Montreal but I think there is a store somewhere on St. Hubert that has that sort of stuff not sure about the quality but maybe you can start looking around that area.

On another note, 2 months to go and I am not receiving a confirmation from my WC at dreams, they are extremely horrible with communication but I always figured as the date became closer they will be on the ball. unfortunately that is not the case, and I am getting nervous about the whole wedding.

So are any of you guys getting nervous about your wedding as well?

Ladies : Chillax! lol! Everything will turn out great.

Subbi as Caboose suggested, call them directly. They answer right away.

PS at my hotel they've sent me a message that I have a new WC!! @ months from my wedding date. Her first request: please send me back all your choices, we've lost your previous request!!!.

Hey Doll! I am working on losing a couple more pounds, getting my Loubi's stretched and finalizing the welcome bag contents. I think we have everything other than the snacks to go in them which I will buy at the end of August right before we leave. Other than that everything else is done. What are you working on?

Hi Ladies,

Checking in...what is everyone working on.

Hi Ladies, it has been a while since I checked in...sorry!  Been so busy with starting a new business DURING wedding planning...what was I thinking???  Haha.  Anyways, sounds you are all on course and doing well.  I have yet to start my welcome bags, letters, etc....ugh.  Trying to get to it this weekend.  Also, going shopping today for bridesmaids jewelry.  I also want to find a flower to wear in my hair for the wedding.  Anyone have a suggestion for realtouch flowers for the hair on Etsy?

Hi hdinsmor! I saw your post on here and wanted to let you know that if you're interested in bridesmaids barefoot jewelry (barefoot sandals), earrings, necklaces or bracelets, I'd be happy to customize anything for you based on colors/styles!  I also have started to design hair accessories (called Exotic Hair Couture on my site) if you're interested. I've attached my links a few photos for your convenience :)

Hi cupcake1382,

I'm also trying to lose a couple more pounds, actually 6-7 more pounds. My first dress fitting is next saturday so I'm very much looking forward to it.

I ordered menu and program today and going to get some flip flop for the guests tomorrow.

It is so hot in new york now, and I'm seriously worried about wearing my dress in Mexico. It is not a ball gown but it has so much thing on it, it feels so heavy(it is actually heavy) and hot. Does anyone have similar concern like me?

Booboo

First: your dress look amazing!!!

Second: Yes you'll be sweating regardless (sorry girl) I wore one of my wedding dresses for my civil wedding in Montreal and I was sweating (my dress was the same shape as yours). I was actually sweating from my waist down which is normal since there's more fabric form the waist down.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
