Thanks Subbi!!

So how's your planning going? Checked my calendar and Ihave less than 65 days left...Feel sick in my stomach.

I still have to look for my MOH dress. It's way too late to order anything so I might have to get her something from BCBG

I can not believe we are almost to the 60 day countdown! I knew 9-10-11 was going to be a popular date! So cool seeing all your other Jamaica September brides on here! I am ADDICTED to Etsy, it is my favorite site (besides eBay) haha.

Almost everything I got was from etsy.. Invites, Cake Topper, Flowers, Hair Flowers, Garter, Flower Girl Skirt and Headband, Guestbook Picture, Sand Ceremony Frame... and I'm sure I will find other things to buy before we go, haha.. Here are a couple..

Invites.... Ok the thing about these.. So everyone was already booked from when we sent out our save the dates so we decided to not do invites. But I love the seller and the design so I kept this and just changed the invite on the left side to a thank you card and on the right the inserts will be a daily itinerary. These will be placed on the bed with the OOT bags.

For our OOT Bags we did..

Each guest will get- Beach bag, Beach Towel, 2 wash cloths (our resort doesn't have them, weird I know), aluminum water bottle, mini bag of chips, our favorite candy (snickers, lemonheads, mike&ikes, and caramel apple pops), mini rum cake, hangover/1st aid kit.

2 Kids age 5- Beach bag, super hero beach towel, coloring book/crayons, candy and chips.

Pre-Travel we are sending out Jamaica Tourism Books (free from Jamaica), brochure I made on Vistaprint, and 2 luggage tags each.

Ok back to Etsy, haha..

Ladies, I am only a few weeks away and in total planning mode. Have gotten a lot done this week alone, there is just one thing left I need some help with. We are debating to changing the reception to an inside location at our resort in Mexico. The thoughts behind this are that we're doing ceremony & cocktail hour outside and don't want guests to be too hot & sweaty while dancing. I know they are going to sweat anyways but might be nice to be inside with the AC during reception? What are your thoughts?

We are doing mexico sept 4th temp's should be around 75-80 at night I believe

Hi Justiner

Definite pros of an inside location is #1, the AC and #2 restroom close to the reception #3 you won't have to pay extra for a dancing plateform since it's not on the beach.

Hello all my September lovelies, I've been really busy lately getting all my stuff together as well as designing some invitations for a friend with a september deadline. My countdown has reached 56 days can't believe how time flies.

Kabee unfortunately I am using flowers as my topper and haven't been looking for cake toppers in Montreal but I think there is a store somewhere on St. Hubert that has that sort of stuff not sure about the quality but maybe you can start looking around that area.

On another note, 2 months to go and I am not receiving a confirmation from my WC at dreams, they are extremely horrible with communication but I always figured as the date became closer they will be on the ball. unfortunately that is not the case, and I am getting nervous about the whole wedding.

So are any of you guys getting nervous about your wedding as well?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
