Room/Village options at Beaches T&C

Recommended Posts

Hey girls,

So I am definitly going to deposit today (yay!) But i wanted some input on what room everyone choose, and also what village they are in.

Also, what village are the majority of your guests staying in, and do you plan on staying in the same one?

I feel like the Italian Village is way to expensive, the French is set farther back, and Caribean is older but more up by the beach...any thoughts?

Look foward to hearing form everyone!

Hello!  We'll be staying in the Parrot Cay 1 Bdrm Honeymoon suite in the Caribbean Village.  I've seen some photos of the room, and it looks nice and spacious, and I love the fact that it's so close to the beach.  All of our guests are staying in the cheapest rooms in the Caribbean Village.

We are booked for the Honeymoon Grande Luxe King in the Caribbean Village. We were originally leaning towards a room in the French Village, but based on the suggestion from our TA, we changed our mind. She had told us that while the French Village is newer, that some of those rooms are just about ready for an update, and while the Caribbean Village is older, that section of the resort has been updated recently so actually looks better than the French Village. I was hoping for the possibility of an upgrade when we get down there, but I don't think that's going to happen as the resort is just about fully booked for the week we are there....or at least online most categories are saying sold out. But there are a few suites still available...I wouldn't mind being upgraded to the Presidential Suite, lol!

We also were going to do the FV, and our TA re-directed us, and 3 of our guests who already booked to the CV....Im cool with it, we are beach people so i dont see us in our room alot anyway. The one thing that does annoy me is that there is no room service (except butler rooms) and we dont have a mini bar in our room. For the price of T&C every room should have this.

Hopefully we will get upgraded, but if not we will just deal with it! No biggie! We alos are hopefully seaying for 10 days, so in order to do that we had to go with a lower cat room.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
