HI Labebita,

Congrats on your engagement and happy wedding planning! This forum will be so helpful in your wedding planning process! I am also getting married at the Royal/Gran Caribe and have been planning since this last June. I did use a TA, actaully one that use to be on this forum. A lot of girls on this forum have used her and she has great reviews. Im not sure I can put her info on here now but if you want more info you can send me a private message. Anyway so that is for booking your trip and for your guests. Then you will want to go to the real resorts website and fill out a contact form. Then you will get a wedding coordinator assigned to you to set up all the details for your wedding. Once you get to the resort you will have a new onsite coordinator to be with you throughout your wedding. Let me know if you have any other questions as Im pretty knowledgeable since being on here and going through the research and planning for the past 9months :) We are heading down there on April 1st :) So excited!! Good Luck!!!!

congrats and welcome! beautiful resort you've chosen!

for our wedding we decided on the royal in playa and like many ladies here, we used a TA.

once you've chosen a date, put a deposit down for it to save it, they should then connect you with a wedding co-ordinator to help answer questions, help you select a package and book flowers etc.

you can have a peak into their packages and such on their website, if you "pretend" to start to book a wedding on it, it lets you get into seeing pricing and options - just don't complete the transaction.

happy planning~~~

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
