Bikini Waxing?

Has anyone tried bikini waxing and lasering? If so, do you recommend it? Do you use numbing creams in advance? I've gotten my underarms lasered and although I am glad that I got it done now it sure hurt like heck!!!!

I get Brazillian's all the time. It hurt a lot when I first started, but its so much better now. I take 2 extra strength advil before I go. 1 half hour before and the other 15 mins before. I find it helps a lot.

I have not had laser, I have wanted to try it but because I am really fair and have light soft hair, they say its a lot harder for me and takes longer. So, I have not done it.

I go with the brazilian as well, when i first got it I told my self, O wow!, I'm 10 again!... haha!.. it's a nice feeling !

I have done both, wax and laser... both hurt soo much..., but i keep thinking this worth it, this is worth it...

Take the advils, AND, I use a numb cream, in spanish the ingredients are: lidocaina & prilocaina, not sure if in english the names stay the same, I think you can get something similar at any pharmacy..

Another thing that have help me it's ICE, bring a cooler with ice on it, and put the ice on the skin for as long as you can take it, this will numb the area ...

Good luck! ...

Bikini waxing is not that bad. I actually have an appointment tonight! It really is only uncomfortable for a couple seconds. But I am certain that a Brazilian may be quite a bit more uncomfortable. wink.gif

Start with just a regualr bikini wax and know that you won't have to get another one for several weeks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
