well im only looking at max 30 ppl......what will happen, is that for everyone over 8 ppl is a 20.00 charge,(bigger cake, more drinks, set up) and what not. the reception is well just the rate per plate!!!!! AND MY TA has held the max amount of seats and room we could...33 what ever we dont use, well just let them go closer to the date. i hope this helps u out some

i sure hope that i can get a wedding date during that week!! i feel like i dont have enough time but i dont really want to wait another year.

 

how has your experience with the wedding planner been??

 

What did you do for OOT bags? did you have them put them together or did you do it yourself?

 

What is the etiquette for invitations? do you send them out super early? or is it ok to send out a save the date with information with it about booking?

no worries, i ask a ton of questions from other brides lol thats why were all here right!!!!! k so here are the answers lol

1) yes i thinkits insane how much money is spent for 8 ppl, when we have to get 10 min for a group rate lol but we all pay it

 

2) i love my W/C she calls me if there is any updates..she always gets back to me fast,,normally the same day. you have to remember its island time..they dont work fast lol but as far as she goes, i have not one complaint or worry at all.

 

3)My OOT bags im doing my self if you want i will post my list on here for you, just let me know! but they are super easy to do...and right now im looking at under 10.00 per bag..just have to shop around a little

 

4)as far as the invites go, i didnt send out STD i just sent out my invites...if you go to my profile you can view my invites if you need an idea, and if you want i have the templates for them too. But really there is no etiquette for a DW in my opinion lol

 

But if you need ideas just go to the top of the screen and type in OOT bags and you will find a ton of forums to work off of! i hope this helped hun, if you need anything let me know, and dont worry about the questions.... i did the same thing. and now i can help others lol lol

the local photographer that iam using is diana cambell from digital memories.com, she is fantastic!!!!! i mean it so genuine and super sweet here is her email......plus if your on a budget she will work with you. i highly recomend her

I haven't received my pictures yet, but it was amazing working with RS and AG from WPAJ (wpajamaica.com), they are associates of Sun Gold Photography.  They both had an amazing eye for location backdrops!  We would be walking and all of a sudden then would tell us to stop and off they would shoot because the way colors were together or the way a tree bent or how the waves crashed.  I can't wait to see the pictures!

 

Quick word of advice about Digital Memories.... I really hope Leigh (canadiangirl) doesn't have this happen to her, but there are some bad reviews of them on the site.  Just be careful and make sure whoever you choose, that their style is what you're looking for!  If pictures are important, than spend the money.

i know everyone has there own opinion on their vendors, but i read all the posts on diana cambell before i went with her...and all i read was good things! and in my opinion i could not be happier with her and her friendly/proffesional personality
