Cabs will be pretty easy to get up in tahoe....I can't remember where is the ceremony taking place? If its in South shore you would be fine or have them set up at a certain time and that will reduce the stress of trying to find them.

I have used that company a couple of times to rent houses...once last year to do a friends bachlorette party...it was so much fun!! The hot tub was a hit up there especially since it was snowing!

We are not sure yet where we are getting married. We are going through a company that will plan stuff for us and are just waiting to see what our numbers will be. We are thinking about 30. Once we know the number we can select our spot. We are looking at Logan Shoals or Emerald bay but they have number restrictions.

There are some photos on their site Lake Tahoe Wedding Packages for a beautiful wedding in Lake Tahoe

We are renting a bus to take the guests from the hotel to the site so that part is taken care of--thank GOD!

You have a pretty small group, but did you look into Heavenly? You can take the gondolas up to the observation deck and you can get married way up there and you can overlook all of lake tahoe including the lake! you can then have your reception there too or still have the reception at the cabin.

Also, Regan Beach or Zeypher Cove...

Thank you for the suggestions. Most of those places are 20 people or less and we fell in love with the idea of the two options we made. We looked into stay at Forest Suites and that is where we found their prices for a BBQ were close to $30 pp--not my idea of a good deal. I guess Forest Suites is at the base of Heavenly.

I really don't want to get married at a beach so we are skipping that part.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
