Hi nsousa - thanks for the tips! I'm going to google Group USA now. I love Jersey Gardens but I don't think I've ever been in there.

I'm from NJ, and I see another NJ bride on this thread with my last name!  ha

I'll PM her.

Also, if anyone is still looking for dresses, Group USA in Jersey Gardens has great dresses!  And reasonable, too!  They have a website with some of their stuff on it, so google them.  The store is very big and they have a lot to choose from ,so it's worth the trip.  They even have some bridal gowns, shoes and jewelry....but the dresses are great and I go here for my dresses for every wedding I attend.

Also, a little tip - for wedding gowns...find what you like and call Pearl's Place in Louisiana to order it.  I got my dress for half of what all the shops in NYC wanted.  They have almost every dress for unbelievably low prices...and they are the real deal.

Congratulations ladies!

I'm in Long Island and getting married in Los Cabos this November. Bought my dress already - at Macy's Bridal Salon. Haven't done any other shopping really except shoes and invitation stuff at Michaels. Trying to figure out what jewelry I want to wear but am having a difficult time with that.

Hi girls! Congrats to everyone! I live at the Jersey Shore (no stereotypes here!). More specifically near Belmar, NJ. My FI and I are getting married 10-21-11 in Riviera Maya Mexico! I'm really excited for this thread! I bought my dress at Kleinfeld (AMAZING experience! Even if you don't buy anything it was wonderful!). And got my BM dresses at a place in Toms River, NJ that sells Alfred Angelo and guarantees the beat price. I look forward to being part of this thread and sharing ideas!

Hi Nikki,

I live in West Nyack, NY which is in Rockland County. I have a beach house down the shore in Brick. I spend most of my time there from spring throughout the summer. I still often come down during the winter months just to hang out and get away. I'm not far from belmar. Congrats, welcome to the forum and happy planning!! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
