Beautiful dress!!  I think you look amazing in it!  Is there any way you could possibly alter the bottom so it could be more of a fit and flare (bring it in a little bit at the knees), which may show off your body a bit better!

Here is my dress, and although I know it looks good, I just think it is too simple. There is beading across the top which is really nice and I'm having my jewlery made to match, but I just lost 60lbs (15lbs less than this picture) and I think I want a dress with more detail at the bottom and more form fitting like a mermaid style.

They look way better then the internet picture!!  I think I love them haha!

Ahhh, I will probably have the same problem as you them.  My feet are a size 6, and usually, like you said, the bands are to big.  They are really cute shoes though!

JayKay - I think you were the one asking me about the Nina shoes?  I got them today - the COD for customs and brokerage was about $8.00.  The band and flowers are actually a satin material, a lot nicer than they even looked on the website!

I took a crappy cell phone picture for you! My only complaint is that my feet are really small, so while a 6 fits me length wide, the band is a bit loose.  I'm going to have to see if I can glue or clip it down somehow.  Still walkable, just a little loose for my tastes.  If you have normal size feet you likely wouldn't have that problem. :)

It looks like I'll be able to glue the sides down a tiny bit, and that'll fix it!

If you're ever in the Edmonton area, you can come try them! I'm in Leduc.  :)

Thank you Ladies! What would we do without BDW!

Thank you, originally we were planning on having a simple DW. But now we have almost 90 ppl coming, amazing photographer and I'm not sure the dress suits the occasion anymore.

The necklace I am having made is Swarovski crystals on 3 or 4 "invisable" strands to make it look like it's floating, if that makes sense.

Weight loss was a combination of exersice and strict protein diet.

I know what you mean about wanting to show off the new body, why not flaunt it right!? Anyways, its completely up to you and how the dress makes you feel. If you don't think its the one then go try some more on, you never know, you could find something you love better or not like anything out there and realize that this is the dress that makes you feel beautiful and you made the right choice. It's all about your confidence in the dress, you look amazing in it in the pic so I'm sure 15 lbs down you look even better now!

Congrats on the weight loss as well, have you just been eating well and working out?

      Thanks Avens!

Originally I was going to get a sash made but the back details doesn't look right with a belt.

There was an ugly broach attached to the dress, and may replace it with a flower or another broach, if I keep it :)

Is there anyway you could add a flower or belt to it to jazz it up a bit?  I know thats what I am doing - adding a different flower to the dress.

I'm going around this weekend to try some more dresses on, and keeping an eye on kijiji!

Wow, I do not envy any of you who are also planning your AHR at the same time as the wedding. My FI, Mom, and girlfriends won't let me even think about the AHR until we get back! But, we're having it in June in our backyard.

If you think you need a different dress, check for sample sales in your area. I felt the same way about my first dress and got y second dress for 200$ at a sample sale at a well known bridal shop here. I only need to get a few sequins tightened and may dry clean it.

For your flowers, have you tried blossom bridal in Toronto? You may be close to the deadline but she is great to work with. I should be getting my proof photos right away. You and I both only have 44 days, so take a deep breath...I am calm now but will likely need you to help me calm down in a few weeks;) We are trying to get our ATR settled right now, pre travel packages out then the ATR invitations out. Not to mention a registry organized. One thing at a time and you will get it all done.

      Hang in there!

I could bring it in a little more at the hips/just below, and will probably do that if I can't find anything else.

So I got a job today, *yay!* so I decided to pick up a secondhand dress I've been eyeing up - for $160!

It's this dress - but the girl had some custom stuff done to it.  So now I have a TTD and my mom and grandma will stop complaining :) The only bad part is, the dress is in Winnipeg - and I'm in Alberta so I'm buying it sight unseen. Hopefully it fits! Although if it doesn't, I'm sure I can sell it for at least that again.
