I really have no idea what to do with myself sometimes.  I graduated from University in December, then one month later was married.  So in the span of one month I went from always having homework, readings, studying, tests to write ect, and wedding planning in between, I no longer have anything!  I have been working an aweful lot, which really is not ideal as I work away from home so I'm gone lots.   I think I need to take up a hobby or find something to consume all my new found free time.   I can see why people have babies as soon as they get married, gives then something to do and think about now that wedding planning is done.

I was thinking about doing a run in the spring too, but not a half marathon just a 5k!  I'm a casual runner and only made it up to 10k before I fell off on my running training.  I figure 5k is a good goal to have.  Good luck!

I'm not really a scrap booking person, but I want to put together a scrap book of things from our trip and wedding.  Does anyone have any ideas or links to ideas?? I'm going to go on Pininterest and see if there is anything there.

I know! I guess I need to finish my thesis now, wedding planning was my excuse before :)

I was also thinking that - seems like a nice way to show off your invites and such - otherwise they're just going to get lost in a box somewhere. Let me know how your scrapbooking goes!

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm glad to know I'm still not the only one waiting for pics.  All my friends and family have been hounding me 'where are they' and saying 'are you sure you didn't get scammed'.  Hopefully soon we will get ours!  I would love to see yours!

I feel like I spam everyone with my pictures :)  Love love them.

He told us it would be 4-6 weeks, which I think it pretty typical.  I know some people that have had to wait months - depends how much editing they do!  If anyone wants to see the full set (all 600!) you can PM me and I'll give you the link. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
