Quick question for you: these luggage tags need to be laminated, are you getting your guests to fill out their names etc themselves and laminate them or are you filling out all of their information and laminating them then sending them? Do you have a laminater or are you going somewhere to get them laminated?

thanks

I do have a laminater and I actually made my own templates for the Info side of the tags and I printed them on full sheet sticker paper and will be putting that part on after they are laminated so everyone can fill them out themselves. I was torn about how I was going to do this too at first... I was going to write everyone's name and info, but decided I really didn't want to do that because not everyone wants all their info out for anyone to see and so on. So this was the easiest way I could think of.

I never thought about an iron, you probably could... just put the tags in a folded paper and iron both sides of the paper??? Might actually work! That or I think you might be able to get stuff laminated at like staples or office supply stores, you could look into it. I only have a laminator because I used to be a program teacher at a daycare and did ALOT of laminating in my day :)

amjohnson I'm so sorry for my delayed response. I've been so busy lately and completely forgot about your request to see a photo of the postcard collage from my reception. Please see the photos below!

I am thinking of giving one large maraca to each guest instead of a set and then I have painted sugar starfish with glittery paint (Martha Stewart) like FUTUREMRSTGUN did.;...check out her thread. I am going to print name place cards and tie them to the starfish. I agree with you though, you don't want too much going on on the table.

Ok so I just logged into theknot.com and saw the little countdown in the top right corner which suddenly states that there's less than 100 days til my wedding! 96 to be exact. Anybody else having a mini panic attack right now? It doesn't matter how many checklists I use I'm still sure there must be something I'm forgetting. And here I've been bragging to all my friends about what a relaxed bride I am. There goes that theory :s

LOL.... I totally feel ya on that one! I've been saying yeah we got lots of time, don't worry about that yet and yada yada, now I'm starting to think holy crap I gotta start getting my stuff together and get on the ball here before christmas is here and we're out of time!!!! LOL... I actually started making some lists of my own yesterday and apparently they just keep growing!!!! I think it would be a litttle easier for me if people would have RSVPed on time not waited until now to THINK about coming!!!! I knew to expect a few to do this, but I was informed yesterday that we may have a possible 21 more guests coming!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!! Good luck to you and remember it's almost your big day!!!!

Hey guys, I had to take some time away from anything wedding related cause that magic number of 100 days got me all freaked out. I just caught up on thread. It's crazy how time flies! I have my first dress fitting next week. I still have no idea what's going on with my Bridemaids. I don't know what she will be wearing, one dropped out and the other is planning her own wedding. Every other major detail has been taken care of, now just have to wait for the RSVP's to come in.

Ack! if you're 96, I'm like 90 - probably less now! Crazy how time flies for sure!

I had planned on a nice relaxing Oct/Nov to finish my thesis and do wedding stuff - now its mid October, I've been so busy moving into the Future BIL's place the past two weeks, then today we went and bought a house! Yay! Now in another two weeks I get to go move again . :D

Someday I'll get my pre wedding yay you're coming letters out.  I have luggage tags that people need!

I also need to find actual bags for my OOT bags and travel mugs.  Then I'm done them!

So much to do!

I was so excited to hit the two digit numbers!!  When I first started planning it was almost 400 days, and at that time I never thought it would get to under 100 days, but it has.  Where has the time gone?!  Unlike some of you, I honestly feel like I have nothing to do!  I wish I had something to do because I feel like I need to be doing something, especially with less and less days to go!  I had my first dress fitting, just waiting to go for the second sometime in November.  I finish our OOT bags with logos.  I ordered our pre travel brochures and will send them out when I get them.  We wrote our welcome letter.  We have everything we need and more!  Glad to hear everyone elses planning is going good!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
