So, the DIY Lab has indeed been "smoking" hot, haha!  Love that phrase!

Here are some little goodies I've been working on:

These will hold our blue and white petals in, which guests will toss at the end of the ceremony, and will go in the sand in front of each chair on the beach.  The heart tag says "Love."

I had these stamps already for other projects and thought --- why not buy napkins for $2.50 and stamp them quickly for an added personal touch for the cocktail hour? :)

And ------ drumroll, please ------ the project that's taken me the absolute longest..... the OOT bags + Passport Welcome Booklets (on next post)!!  woot2.gif

I screenprinted on the logos on these bad boys:

Here's a closeup on the tags I made for the bags:  (each tag has different charms - seashells, sanddollars, compasses, starfish + an inspiring word like Life, Love, etc.)

Here's the bag with the contents:  (underwater camera, Oh Sh*t Kit, Door Knob Hanger, Passport Welcome Book, Playing Cards, Key Holder, and cards for our Time Capsule guest book.)

And, now, possibly the favorite thing I've made so far!  Passport Welcome Booklets.  THANK YOU to all the brides who have posted their passports and to Beck for her planning tips.  This took me AGES, but I love them.  :)  I hope our guests do, too!  Enjoy.

P.S.  I apologize for the long post!!  There's 24 pages, I think.  And there's pages of Spanish & Puzzles, which I didn't post.  I felt I was already going overboard posting this, LOL!!  xoxo

Freaking AMAZING!!! Look at all that progress!! You've inspired me to start mine! I don't think I'll have enough pages in my passport to do all those (maybe just guest's faces) and a separate brochure for all the info!! WOW!

Well our little Cesar Chavez come home tomorrow woot.gif and my son is pinkie.gif around the house making sure everything is in order.  If he goes to the crate one more time I think I will put him in it lol.  So knowing the the weekend will be pretty busy for us starting tomorrow with an hours drive to and fro and a pick-up time at 12p there will be no DIYing here.  So, I managed (with my sick tail) to finish our "pop of color" for our welcome dinner.  The quotes were taken from the bible passage 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 all except "Love is Wright"  ;-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
