HUGE CHECKMARK!!

Double-checked my website, and it's good to go!!  Now to pray about bookings, along with some of you other ladies who've already sent your invites.  So excited to hear feedback.  Multiple people at the post office commented on how they loved them, and that was only the outside of them!

P.S.  Thanks again Coconoir about the note of the $88.  I love how you phrased your Booking page, so I used a lot of your ideas for my page and revamped it, hoping that I'll get a lot of bookings.  I hope that's ok!  If not, let me know. :)

Sara, I am so excited to work with you!!!  :)

Here are a couple of the recent ones I've found. The last one isn't really about the decorations, I just like the beach balls. I think my guests would have fun with that one cheesy.gif

Hola Chicas,

As I sit here eating my frozen grapes (I can't eat grapes otherwise as the texture bothers me-I'm quirky) and looking through the "inspiration boards" that I have gathered from FI & I collective ideas (so FI decides to have a say in this process-go figure ;-)  I believe that I am getting closer to deciding our wedding & reception decor.  I think I have dreaded this process more than making the Pre-travel brochures only because the set-up will be captured in pictures but more so set the mood for what we are going for.  So when FI has sometime this weekend, I will have to trap him and get the "okay babe" before setting things in motion.

Depending on his approval of the decor I will have added at least 2-3 more DIY projects.  Thank God for starting early.

BTW a couple of post back (I think on this forum) I mentioned that my Fiskars cutting board wire frayed, well I got my new one today from Fiskars (under their warranty) Yay that was quick.  So if you ever have something that goes bad from them and there are no replacements parts contact them, it's totally worth it for a new tool

I hope everyone's planning is going well!

Oooooooh ---- love this!!  Great timing, too, as I'm figuring out the decor aspects of things. :)  Makes it easier to see how everything matches and comes together.

P.S.  Haven't emailed you back in FOREVER because I wanted my next email to show you some ideas I've come up with, too, like you showed me.... but I have to collect them first, LOL!!  I haven't forgotten about you at all!  Just still collecting them.   Just wanted to let you know, Feb sister. :)

Just wanted to update ---- some have already recieved our invites!!  My FI has recieved 3 texts so far; here's what they said:

1)  "OMG!!! Just got your wedding invitation in the mail!!! Holy $@#! that's adorable!!! Nice work u two!!! I love it!!!

2)  "Got the invite today.  That's probably the coolest invite we've ever got.  Good job.  We are not gonna be able to make it though.  Thank you very much for the invite and thinking about us."

3)  "Holy $#!%!  Such a cool wedding invitation!!  How did you make it smell like hte beach!?"

So there we are!!  SUCCESS --- at least from an excitement factor, which is what we were going for!  Now, hopefully, they will check out the website and get even more excited and book. :)

I mean, it must be good if we got 2 "Holy $#!%"'s, right?!?  Hahaha.  :)

Plus, I'm psyched that someone thinks they smell like the beach!  I scented the corks like WAY to early (like 5 weeks early, haha), so that's awesome!

On cloud 9!!!  Happy Planning today, beautiful women!  Thanks for celebrating with me. So thankful for you all.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
