BIG shout out and thanks to palacebride who saved my day with my daughter's MOH dress. i don't know much but tell me it isn't fate that she happened to have a fuschia dress in the right size a month before my wedding when i couldn't find anything and was really freaking out. I can't express my gratitude and my FI's because he was going to divorce me before we even got married lol. Thanks so much Shane you saved the day girl woot.gif

Today is final payment day!  Well, it is time for our guest to step up the plate and pay off their room.  And to my surprise, we only have 8 more room blocks/ people to go woot.gif my TA email me everytime someone pays off their trip but today, before she could do it, people were texting me saying.. "Let's go Mexico, I'm paid"  Love it!

So come Sunday evening after my FSIL has left our house, I can ORDER the things that we need, since the final numbers will be in.

Oh and I came in this am to reprint our wedding programs (which besides names) I revised a bit.  So exciting.

Does anyone know how much the airport transfers are?

Honestly, I like it how it is!  Most people probably won't care if you add pictures or not.  But this is a super cute idea!

My idea is that everyone will fill these out while they are waiting for us to show up at the restaurant (we're not having a reception).  We have a lot of smarty pants going with us, so these should be pretty hilarious to read later on.  I figure I'll take them, and add them to a photobook.  Let me know what you think.  What should I add?

I feel far behind too or like I am forgetting to do something!?!?  But, I am not doing as much as some of the other ladies are doing either....So not sure if I just don't know what I am doing or if I am good to go???  HA!!!  So, yes I feel like this.  But you will get what you need to get done!  It just may be last minute!  :)

Ok, I'm just being dramatic.  I am truly feeling pressured right now.  It's busy season at work (I'm an accountant), so I'm working close to 60 hours a week.  So much to do and so little time.  I have some family drama going on and NO ONE HAS BOOKED!!!!

Does everyone feel like this at one point during wedding planning?!

So I'll be up tonight trying to get this to do list organized and working on things...

Hi ladies,

I forgot to add that we figured out the dates of my bridal shower and Bachelorette Party.  YAY!!!

March, 24th for bridal shower and April 28th for the bach party.  I am bummed a little though....  I wanted to go the mountains for my bach party but it is after ski season ends which means it's a ghost town up there until memorial day!  Restaurants, bars and even some hotels close for about a month :(  So sad, I really didn't want to do the bar hopping in Denver type party so hopefully my sister (MOH) is creative enough, but she knows I don't want to do that, so we shall see...

congrats on setting those dates Jamie!!!! I hope your MOH finds something fun for your ladies to do!!!

I haven't even given those events a thought yet-  one of my best friends whose in my wedding and I am in hers is getting married exactly 2 months before me so i will have a 6 week time frame as to when I can have my shower/bachelorette party.  I'm thinking of doing a bachelorette party in Mexico if the majority of my friends can make the trip!! :)

Hey ladies!

I'm having a bachelorette party at home the weekend my finace is going on his in NYC for the Big East Tournament!  (Hopefully Syracuse will be in it all weekend for him!)  We are also doing a joint one down in Cancun- we are using Cuncrawl (same company as Playacrawl).  I think we are splitting up guys and girls and coming together at the end of the night!

Beatyea- That is so great to know you are doing the Cuncrawl!!! Will you please write a review about it after your wedding?

From what I've read on here the playacrawl is more fun- so I don't know which one to do!! I know Playa is about a 45 min drive from Cancun, so I didn't know if it was worth the drive or not.

Did you book the crawl through the website directly?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
