Jamie - I don't know how they are doing it. I have 2 weeks left and two projects to complete plus packing!!!

Yet I blame it on the multiple changes of location. If I would have stuck my guns and stayed at my original location, I would be relaxing now! Oh well, it was exciting and after all I gained this site and new 'girlfriends' so no complaints!

TGIF Chicas!!!!

I am going to order my paper for my invites today and hopefully get that in sometime next week.  Then I am hoping to put together the invites next weekend (assuming I get the paper in)  I am going to mentally prepare for the long process and with my good friend (red wine) and my MOH aka sister, we should have a good time doing it!

Also, last night, FI and I started our registries.  We went to Crate and Barrel and Bed Bath and Beyond!  We did great at Crate & Barrel, meaning we were all lovey dovey and had so much fun, but at BBB, we started to argue over that simple kitchen ware, he was being so picky!!!  SO FUNNY!  As we were leaving we were like, um...sorry!  HA!!!  This is why I love my FI!!!!

We are officially 3 months away from our big day and I finally got an e-mail from claudia at MP! I have had months to think about what locations we want and now that I can pick, I am clueless!!! AHHHHHH We have less people attending then what we anticaped, we are at 24 guests including us and expecting maybe 6 more.  I am horrible at making decisions and really need some input the fiance is not a good decision maker either! We feel a semi-private dinner is not what we want mainly because we still want it to feel like a reception.

So when trying to pick a location for the private reception we want somewhere that is not huge so that way we do not feel so spread out. (make sense? lol)  Any suggestions ladies!!! :) undecided.gif

Wow, you've gotten a lot done!!!  I'm with you on the super tight budget.  I've found out though that I can still have my dream wedding, I just need to pull out my creativity and innovation like it's my JOB!   (and get lots of ideas from the FI)

What's next?  It seems like you're almost there!

BTW, anudrm ---- totally purchased that Friskar's cutter last week.  There was a kit where I got a circle cutter, oval cutter, 2 cutting guides, and a cutting mat for $44 at Michael's --- and with my 40% off coupon, I got it for $28!  BAM!  So excited I wanted to share it with you.  Thanks for the tips on supplies!!!  Can't wait 'til I get to use it on our Do Not Disturb hangers...

YESSS for getting your beautiful invites done soon!!  So psyched for you!  Send me a glass, will ya? ;)

Registering took so long for us!  We did Target, BB&B, & Pottery Barn.  He got tired of it all, l think, so when it came to Pottery Barn, he said I could do it by myself.  TOTALLY fine by me because I could go to town on decorating our place!!  He was particular about what he wanted at BB&B too, haha, but it was fun.  But I left thinking..."who needs an automatic flosser??"  HAHA!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
