All at Target for $0.97 although I had to visit 2 different stores for a total of 55 boxes.  Dollar Tree had them as well however; not in the quantity that I needed and I saved 3 cents each LOL

TGIF! Although my Friday's (since the new copier was installed) has been welcomed with open arms.  Today was no exception!  Per my last post, I made it to work at 6:35 and warmed up my Canon Guy as he was in for a long hall.  We had a brief discussion about paper getting stuck and he listened for the most part.  Only 1 stuck cardstock.  He did pre-warm me that it will take him longer to print card stock than regular paper and boy was he correct.  IT took him roughly 35 minutes to print 50 pages of card stock (although thick) but again he did an amazing job.  Being the Type A person that I am when it comes to planning, I stayed up until 12 am making a page 2-3 of the welcome book (I wanted my coming in early not to be in vain).  So page 2 is the "welcome to Cancun" standard welcome found on BDW with a few additions and deletions, followed by a schedule of events.  As these were on a lighter paper it took him about 15 minutes per set of 25 (doubled sided-short edge).  So there I was at 7:55a done and contemplating on what to do next.  So I started working on page 4....well the design...  but now it's time to start my work day.

Enjoy my Fellow Brides and as alwyas, HAPPY DIYing

I have 20 of these pages to cut (I always do extra just in case).

Not all of them look the same as far as the bling.. Some have bling inside the S, or the colors are reversed etc..

Happy DIYing

PS I found out today, that if I send documents from the computer to my printer friend, he accepts the items face-up (excluding labels.)  However; if you are in his company trying to print he takes the documents face-down. I told you his a$% is bipolar.  smile105.gifBut I love my (oooppsss- my work) Canon Printer Guy...  stay tuned, I'm going in the office tomorrow at 6:30 to print the cover of our welcome booklet.  I already pre-cut all 50 card stock pages...so NO cutting afterwards.. YES....

Nite

I actually started planning (STDs, Invites in Dec with contact to Sarah from Sprouille Designs).  From there, I started researching, making notes, gathering inspirations pics etc...But I also set a goal for myself to have certain portions completed etc.. by certain dates (My son has crazy amounts of homework that average between 1 1/2 to 3 hrs a night, plus his activities) so I had to have major stuff stuff.  So now I can work on those things that I can take my time on.... But I also want to be done done done by Christmas which is 1 month behind schedule for me.  The holidays are huge for us and with work we are implementing a new computer system so with 6 clinics that I oversee I dare not do anything but pay off stuff in Jan.  Mentally I know that I will not be able to do.

Seriously!  I feel so far behind!  But I keep trying to tell myself, I did just get engaged mid-August.  But I know we will finish even if it is with a moment to spare!

Funny thing is, everything gets done. Perfectly and in a timely manner, yet I don't have a do this then this then this.  I believe I may have ADHD, my list sorta goes like do this, this, and this...all at one time. If I accomplish this and still have this & this to do, go ahead and start that!

I know a lot of this and that, it makes sense to me though.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
