That's what I love about Martial Arts --- it takes the fear away, so you are actually less likely to fight.  You feel confident in your safety.  But if you felt in danger, you know you could defend yourself well.  Good to hear that TKD has boosted your son's confidence!  Exciting that you're thinking of joining after the wedding.  I'm sure that'd be awesome for you and your son to be doing it together, too. :)

I think I'm overwhelmed at the thought of these projects as well because right now we have 110 people with their deposits down and a few more "maybes" too (Indian weddings are ridiculous!). So I'm not sure if i want to even tackle OOT bags for that many people. FI and I talked about making 1 per family or couple and handing them out at guests' homes before we leave, just so we don't have to lug all that stuff down to Cancun. What do you ladies think? Would that take away from the surprise or excitement of them?

On a happier note, my parents and I just booked our flights to India for this december! I will be buying my outfits and other wedding ceremony necessities from there and haven't been since since I was 6 years old! I won't get to do much sight seeing because I"m only there for 2.5 weeks, but I'm super excited nonetheless!

Coco!  I am so sorry!  Sending lots of love your way!!!smile03.gif

I purchased our memorial charm which will have 3 pictures.  The pictures will be of my FI's parents and my best friend who is also my Honorary Maid of Honor.  She passed away in June of 09' two days before her 37th bday.  As I'm fighting back tears, I'm going to sign off for the night.  Please keep me in your prayers....I didn't think that I would get this emotional...  thanks ladies.

I recently became interested in having my wedding at the moon palace in 2013. We found this to be a great place to have our wedding and they had everything that we wanted. We got our WC who is Janina, but it is so early that we dont have to do any planning now. The only thing was the down payment and half the cost of the package is due in two weeks. I was just wondering if they requested you to send a fax of your card that you were using (front and back). This makes me uncomfortable to be honest...so i was hoping that someone could reassure me that this was requested from them. I am so excited to begin my planning and get this minor headache out of the way!

Thank you so much =)

Would you mind sending me an e-mail too!!!  If so, I will pm you my e-mail.  Thanks!!!

Awww so sad! I'm sorry for such a major loss. I can't even begin to imagine. You know she will be there watching, and will LOVE that you are keeping her close to you on such an important occasion.

Hi Ladies!

First off WOW! You all are doing so many amazing things! I can't believe how beautiful everything is. You guys are doing such fantastic jobs and are inspiring me on a daily basis!

Second- I am still out of town (in MT doing some wedding stuff with my mom), but I have LOTS to share when I get home! I got my amazing barefoot jewelry and hair flower from Red-i by Chelsea this week! They are absolutely beautiful and I know my girls are going to LOVE them. Even my mom seemed a little jealous...maybe a X-mas present? LOL! I will also hopefully have some OOT and decor stuff done by the time I go back to WA. I even tossed (figuratively of course) out the BMs dresses and bought something TOTALLY different! Lots to do and so little time to do it these days!

Keep up the good work ladies, and I will be back to do some more posting when I get home! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
