Moon Palace 2012 Brides

Recommended Posts

posted this in the pictures thread, but will ask here too: We are all staying on the Sunrise side, and the Bugambillas (sp?) Gazebo seems much closer to our room block than the Tucan Gazebo (we want to get married in a Gazebo, I think). Does anyone have any good pictures of it? Has anyone had their ceremony (or cocktail or reception) there? And we want the cocktail ceremony to be nearby, but the map doesn't show (or it isn't clear) if there are nice terraces or gardens next to it. Does anyone have any comments? The Tucan area is a long walk from the Sunrise side, isn't it? Does it make sense to choose Bugambillas instead? Are there other gazebo choices?

I visited Moon Palace last May and took photos of just about everything.  I posted a bunch of pics in the Photos of Moon Palace thread, but I will try to find a couple specific pics to show you what the Bugambillis Gazebo looks like, and its surrounding areas.

The Tucan Terrace and Tucan Gazebo are a very solid long walk from the Sunrise section.

Ill post some photos here in a just a minute.

As far as a close Terrace goes....if you look in the picture below...you will see a small terrace just right of center which would probably be large enough for a cocktail hour.

Click on the photo to make it larger and you should be able to get a decent look at the terrace just right of center of the photo.

There are only 3 Gazebo choices.

The Tucan, the Catholic and the Bugambilia.  With the Bugambilia Gazebo being the closest to the Sunrise section.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
