I'm sorry it has been EONS since I have been on here! The last 5 months or so have been a crazy complete whirlwind of wedding planning, holidays, business trips, family drama, and my surgeries of course. I feel so awful that I abandoned you all! msncry.gif

I hope you are all doing well and are enjoying your planning. I can say I am more than relieved for all the planning to be OVER! Whew! For someone who is not all that creative and who likes things very organized and done well ahead of time, and who has a hard time making decisions and sticking to them, this was quite a challenge for me. I really got so much help from all you ladies. I can't tell you how your support and love got me through a lot of hard times. I love you ALL!

I am putting together my planning thread and my MP review, so stay tuned!!!

If any of you have any questions or need some help, feel free to email me on my personal email: kellyrsmith85@mail.com

I check my email more often than I check my messages here, so I will be able to get back to you more quickly!

smile03.gifLove and best wishes from a very appreciative Mrs. Smith!

Thanks guys. I am so freaking out. i have been DIYing like a mad woman and I am sooo scared of packing it all up. Everytime my HUSBAND lol passes my wedding room he just shakes his head OMG. but anyway i am having major suit dilemmas lol. The first suit he bought from studio suits the jacket fit but the pants were too short on the rise and his crack was hanging out lol and so I had to buy another pair of pants custom from them because I got this dark color because he said he wanted it and now doesn't like it lmao. Anyway i also bought the best man a pair so I am 350 in here and now he wants to buy something else lol. He bought this pink Robert Graham shirt and I want him to wear a short sleeve silk or linen untucked under the jacket for the ceremony but he balks at a jacket with an untucked shirt and i can't find pics so maybe he is right??? no, impossible lol. but if he has to wear this pink shirt than it must be UNTUCKED (trying not to hurt his feelings but the tucked thing is not working for him-said with much love ;)) what do you guys think?? and what shoes can i get casual slip on? any suggestions girlies. does that dark beige and the pink shirt work together??? Thank God i only have a best man to worry about. the girls are wearing fuschia and pink.

My friend, I see that you have been quite busy and I LOVE it!!  you go with your bad self.  As far as the shirt it's a hard call.  Maybe for the ceremony he can have it tucked in and for the reception out.  Your FI & mine are on the same page so it's definitely a hard sell..

    • we ended up using Facebook messenger when we were in Mexico - the hotel had free wifi and at least 1 person from each family/couple had FB on their phone already - it was pretty easy to communicate among guests "hey, we're heading to the beach bbq for lunch." or "everyone is hanging at the small pool today".  a plus was that some people tried to get a hold of me via FB on the day of the wedding and I was totally not checking my phone - they were asking if the wedding was outside given the rain forecast, thankful my mom, MOH and a few other friends were on the group and could respond for me :)

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well.
    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
