Awesome- thanks speckles! :)

That is very resonable! Did you just tell him your colors and he made up something for you?

He respondes to Marvin José Ku Kinil <marvin@mayafloral.com> for his email. He is charging $85 for each centerpiece and $60 for each bouquet, which I dont think is expensive at all esp because we are only going to have 2-3 tables! I couldnt be happier..it saves me time by not having to search for real touch flowers or creating them and $ by not using the resort, baggage etc.

I am waiting on coursages and boutonaire pictures now..will post pics and prices when he sends them!!

Anyone else getting married that first week of November?

Those look great!

The price is soo cheap in comparision with what MP wanted to charge me and I dont need to lug everything down and back with me..And one of my good friends said she would meet him, set them and my linens up and get her a gift for doing so! Definitely trying to avoid the $250 setup charge if that is actually what they are charging..

these our the centerpieces hes created..my fiance loves captain with limes so i thought it was cute to incorporate that in it all..then is my bridesmaids bouquets

Speckles - love the flowers!! They are going to be GORGEOUS!

AppKate - Great color choice!! Mine is turquoise with splashes of pinks, orange, and white.

Krystabab - your engagement photos are AWESOME!! Love the travel theme. We are having ours done in April down by the river. Can't wait for those.

Setstar congrats & welcome!! I hope this site continues to help you out.

Update: I have a phone appointment set with Beatriz to start making final plans for our wedding date. She confirmed for February 24 in the afternoon. Yay!!! As of today we are 116 days away. Seems like I still have a ton of stuff to do though! Slowly but surely the OOT bags are coming together. I got the card key holders and first aid kits in the mail and have stickers on the f/a kits. Just waiting on luggage tags and loops. Making a trip to the Dollar Store this week to see what other kinds of goodies I can get for them. Then placing another Vistaprint order later this week for the Groupon deals I got last week. New specials were posted yesterday for those looking for certain items.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Valentines Day!! Wedding planning is put on hold for tonight's date!

Did anyone go for room upgrades when you got there with your resort credits? How much extra was it (not exact numbers but how big of a jump?) We're thinking of booking Oceanview and then upgrading to Concierge but not sure how much that would cost and if it would exceed our resort credits.

    • OMG these are incredible! Seriously blown away by the thoughtful detail you have put into every aspect of your gifts, your guests are going to be amazed! Props to you for adding so many personal touches and putting in so much time to make these gifts amazing!
    • These bags are amazing!! You are so organized and detailed, I am so impressed! I LOVE the Vistaprint stuff you ordered, the logo is so cute, I love your personalization!
    • I love etsy!! It's a great place to find personalized gifts without such a hefty price tag. I was thinking of getting my bridesmaids personalized necklaces with their names on them. I found these ones that are affordable and you can pick the chain length and different fonts, so you can really make them your own and pick what you know each bridesmaid will want. https://www.etsy.com/listing/595334072/personalized-name-necklace-stainless?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=personalized necklace&ref=sc_gallery-3-9&plkey=a8662525c53ec285c1b46b0f308162d0591edff8:595334072
    • Hi everyone, I am so happy that I am getting married to the love of my life. He proposed me and we are getting married within in a couple of months. And I have started preparations for my big day. I am super excited about a lot of things and also worried about many things.I have some inhibitions about my face and skin. Since I am a working woman, I have never got much time for personal care. This is the right time for it now. I need proper medical grade skin care. Want to improve my skin tone and texture I read some details about it here, https://www.mcleanclinic.com/nonsurgical-procedures/non-surgical/skin-care/, and found it really helpful. Can anyone of you suggest me some more tips? Like what I can do at home to have a glow on my face? Thanks in advance.
    • I think you should approach the dentist. That would be the best idea as of now.
