Moon Palace 2012 Brides

For those of you looking for something unique to add to your OOT bags...........I stumbled across this website today while looking for wrist coils for my key card holders.

They are the plastic bracelets that are all the rave right now. They can make personalized key chains. When I inquired about pricing the guy told me that you could just get the number of bracelets that you want bc there is no minimum and then told me to get the metal clips and key rings at the craft store such as Hobby Lobby, whereas if you order the actual key chains the minimum is 100.  You can get them printed front and back and there are a ton of colors to choose from. Plus they can ship them to you in 7 days in the US. The price for the one I was looking at was $1.39 per bracelet.

Thanks ladies!! I'm thinking since I am getting married at Sun Palace and staying at Moon that I might have the Miami contact for Sun palace and that is why none of you have heard of either of them- I figured it didin't hurt to ask!! :)

It is a party service that takes you to 3-4 clubs in downtown Cancun for a flat rate per person and includes all drinks, covers, skip lines, bottle service at a VIP area at the club, and transportation to and from the resort.  Cuncrawl.com

From what I've read on here the playacrawl is more fun- so I don't know which one to do!! I know Playa is about a 45 min drive from Cancun, so I didn't know if it was worth the drive or not.

Did you book the crawl through the website directly?

I will definitely review it.  There are reviews of both on Tripadvisor and all were positive.  We have gone out in Cancun and Playa del Carmen before and both are fun, but Cancun is closer and an hour ride back to the resort from Playa is not so fun drunk! lol  We have done a party service like this before and we had a blast and it really is the cheapest way to go to all the places and its great not having to wait in line and you're hand is never empty of a drink!  I filled out their contact us form and got an email from them and set it up that way.  They sent us a link for people to pay for it through Paypal- they seem great to work with.  We are going April 18th so if any brides that are there then and want to do the same night and meet up- let me know!

So, tomorrow, it will be only 1 WEEK until we leave for Cancun!!!!  woot.gif woot.gif woot.gif

What's next on my list:

- Packing

- Packing

- More Packing!

I've pretty much accomplished everything off my to-do list (which feels AMAZING since it was outrageously long with 25 DIY projects included, haha).  YAAAAAYYY!!!

I forgot to share that my fiance's family threw me a surprise shower the weekend before last.  It was so awesome of them, and I feel so incredibly blessed to be joining their family.  And tomorrow, my work is throwing me a shower!!  I feel so fortunate and spoiled -- 3 showers for me!!!

Yesterday, my FI got his braces off, and he looks SO great! I cried because he said he's never felt this great about his smile in his life.

So, I'm in beaming bride-to-be land!  Gonna go pour some wine and watch the Bachelor episode from last night. :) CHEERS!!

  Thanks being so welcoming. I have actually started to order things for my OOT bags, even though I am not sure how many exactly to order. I figured I would get a head start and ebay any left overs. I am thinking of putting:

* a deck of cards with our monogram

Fans (which I might place at the ceremony and not in the OOT bags)

* Beach Towels

* Sunscreen

* Beach themed frames

* First aid kits “in sickness and in health†(an idea I saw on BDW)

I was thinking of adding something "typical" from Mexico & thought of tequila and personalized shot glasses.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you know if we can ship items prior to our arrival? (Instead of lugging all the things through airports)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
