It's Casablanca 1975, which I ordered last month. The FI really wanted me to wear something that showed curves. I'm pretty nervous, cause usually I'm trying to hide or minimize them, especially my booty. No hiding optional in this baby. I originally was thinking of something "flowy and chiffony" but as he and I looked at websites together, the FI always commented that he hoped I wouldn't try to hide under ruffles or a big gown. My MOH started to cry when I tried this one on and convinced me that as my 39th birthday quickly approaches, I need to finally learn to embrace my curves. I will post a picture of me in the actual dress in February when I get the alterations done. Hope you girls approve.

I don't know if you were meaning your pay it forward message to anyone in particular but if you were I hope by no means it was to me!

This website has been nothing short of amazing and I am so lucky to have found it.  Everyone has been nothing but helpful and full of great ideas! Esp you ladies on the Moon Palace thread.  I have been grateful for everyone that has shared photos, Ideas and templates.  I do not have a date set yet, and therefore have not been able to "pay it forward" yet seeing as I have done nothing but get ideas for things.  I CANNOT wait until my date is set so I can start working on my Save the dates and other projects and be able to pay it forward to all the brides that come after me! I consider this the biggest research paper I've ever done and I am so thankful for all the great resources (all you wonderful brides to be!)! :) Keep up the amazing work ladies!!! ! :)

That's great! Definitely keep me posted :)

Eric graduated from Pitt in '99 if I'm remembering correctly off the top of my head. That's amazing about your future engineer son!!

You know TX is our final destination but probably won't happen until my lil man is done with 8th grade (in 3 yrs). I plan to do some research when he hits 6th grade to determine if TX has science high schools like Philly does (definite future engineer on my hands).  If they do, then our transition will happen as he enters High School.. If not TX will have to wait until he's done. Either way we will be headed that way.  What year did hubby go to Pitt?  I was entered in  92', took then tranferred in 95' to Robert Morris. Then started grad school at CMU..small word huh.

All right ladies,

Coco, inspired me to get my booty in gear, especially since I am so slow at work.  I have started to work on my boarding pass invites.  Thank you again coco for all the templates!!!

Please Please let me know what you think so far.  Obviously this is the beginning stages of them, but I would like to purchase paper soon and start working away on them.

Thanks!!!

I didn't think so, but I just wanted to be sure! :) I love everyone on here so much, the last thing I would want would be to make enemies!

No, I haven't even contacted MP yet.  My issue is with my hubby to be.  He is finishing his last year of law school and has "unoffically" been offered a job (where he has been interning the last two years) when he graduates in May. Therefore, we don't want to set a date until he knows he has the job and can take days off.  I would hate to have to change my date, so I figure it's better to wait then to change it! Hopefully we will know before the holidays and we are looking at next November/December anyways, so fingers crossed it will all work out! :)

Ladies,

As sdamian once said a few post back "I speak what's on my mind" I'm true to a fault but, I also don't like to be taken advantage of, nor will I sit back and let that happen to others. SO, my soapbox messages the other day was to simply state that.  I don't like to be asked "what are you doing for this, what are you doing for that, how did you do  this and that etc." and then in the same breathe the person takes the ideas and does whatever, but fails to post pictures or share how they created it for themselves, or share their templates.  Heck my ideas aren't grand and because I'm no DIY queen, I have drawn a tremendous amount of help from this forum.  And in that same manner, I share when I'm done or even what I have in the process. In the few times that I could not share the exact template(s) because of a background that I brought, I simply removed the background and sent what I had.  So because I cringe at the ideal of my wedding being dupped  wtf.gifas I'm sure you would I'm ban02.gif myself.  As you can see I felt a little iconic LOL.  I'll continue to share basic things, and as always will share any templates that I have.  But in order for me to not stand on any more soap boxes and the like (which is truly not a part of my character) I'll simply go about things this way. This will insure my sanity eek.gif along with the integrity of our wedding planning.

Love you ladies and keep DIYing your hearts out.
