Moon Palace 2012 Brides

Recommended Posts

Summer12,

I would definitely keep trying.  What I did in my initial email was to include all of the information possible, wedding date, location, time I needed the flowers, colors, how many and inspiration photos.  It took 2 emails but when he responded he captured our vision perfectly and from there we made our deposit.  He does take a while so I would make sure that your subject line in your email is very clear so that if it goes to spam he will quickly know that it isn't.

Ladies,

With all of the technical difficulties that I was having the nite that I uploaded the pictures of our Passport Invites (post#1299) I in haste forgot to upload our response cards.  So here they are, these will be included in the envelope.

So I'm looking at different options for OOT bags and I came across discountmugs.com  They have super cute totally designable bags at really reasonable prices, the only thing is there is a standard $50 fee per design plus the bags get cheaper the more you buy.  Anyone interested in buying some together?  I was thinking a cute beach design with "moon palace June 2012", "moon June 2012", ect.  I'm willing to take the "June" out if need be.

They have a lot of tote bags to choose from, here are a few I like, but I really liked a lot of them...

Congrats on your contract!! :)

We're just purchasing a day pass -- when I asked them to omit the "no outside vendors" from the contract, they said an outside photographer was okay if I purchased a day pass.  Until this, I was also hesitant.

I'm also considering an outside vendor, Marvin, for flowers!

I just got off the phone with FI and he is VERY concerned about the "no outside vendors allowed"  We want an outside photog.  For his peace of mind, what are you guys doing?

Are you just getting a day pass for your photog?

or

Are you getting them a room?

or

Are you using onsite photography?

I keep telling him that everyone does it, but he not wanting to sign the contract because of it.

Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
