Moon Palace 2012 Brides

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies,

I need your help. I originally was going to do the unity candle ceremony but now I found this neat idea that I want to add. Its the rope ceremony: three ropes are tied together to symbolize how the couple are joined by God in marriage. However, I can't find these ropes anywhere. I would like them to match my wedding colors (brown, gold and white). Any thoughts, suggestions, DIY ideas????

We had ours until 11pm but not without a little push.  We were told no later than 10pm (at the bugambilia terrace).  But we saw a wedding in the grand section going strong way past 11pm a few nights before ours.  we complained and they accomodated us with an extra hour (@$60 per table).

Yes, I paid in full before arrival.  when i met with the coordinator, we went over the costs again, and any differences were settled at final check out.

Hi

that should all be factored into that and reflective of your freebies from your package- my total purchase order was $213ish- all I paid for was my ipod hook up and $3 for orange ribbon around my cake.  [/quote Hi can I just ask as we are having the complimentary package and I wanted to add horse and carriage and photography. Do I need to pay for something to play the music on for my walking to the beach and when we walk away after we're married? There is only four of us travelling could anyone think of any other must have extras that we might need? Thanks in advance x

Hi Lilypod-

The complimentary package comes with a tech to play music at your ceremony- they set up speakers- you just have to provide a CD and list of songs to be played when.  If there is only 4 of you I don't think you need anything other than the horse and photographer! You may want a videographer if you want to show everyone else your ceremony when you return (I just had my future brother in law record the ceremony).  Everything is so gorgeous the way it is!! I made starfish raffia decorations for the aisles but that was all I added to the ceremony on the beach! :)

Let me know if you have any other questions! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
