I asked my travel agent and she said we will get a check back.

We qualified for 4 complimentary nights and my wedding coordinator was able to minus it from our Purchase Order! I don't know if this is a new process or not as I know most brides were told they had to wait to get it in check form after your wedding.

My coordinator emailed me about 2 weeks ago and said we had two options: 1) We could minus it  from our purchase order or 2) we could use the money onsite at the resort during our stay

You can have rectangular tables, but they are extra. You will need to go through their decorations vendor to get the tables. We had to pay extra for a sweetheart table.

Are you serious? They are ridiculous with all the additional charges. I emailed my coordinator to see if I can get it free. I'm frugal!

My coordinator did not charge us for the sweetheart table!  Everyone seems to give different answers!

Yes they are very inconsistent with what they charge for. Originally I was told that we would pay a set up fee if we had them set up our centerpieces for us as we had used an outside vendor. But in the end I never mentioned anything and they just set it up for us without charge. (But we DID have to pay the $500 outside vendor fee).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
