LindseyColleen - Zaray is a great coordinator.  We ended up with her after our original coordinator was out on emergency medical leave.   She was wonderful - quick to respond to emails and phone calls while we were at the resorts.   I know she was swamped the week of my wedding, but she made it a point to stop by at all of my private events.

I'm back!!!! I will hopefully share photos soon!!! Everything was amazing!!! There were a few minor mishaps- like having the salon redo my hair 3 times, my luggage was forgotten at my in-law's house and we ended up getting it in time to make our flight, phew! :).  Overall, I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding or a more perfect week spent with 39 people who love us dearly.  My wedding was actually at Sun Palace but my welcome/rehersal dinner was at Moon at we stayed at Moon.  Karen was my on-site for my welcome dinner and she was great- so sweet!!  Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to answer and I will hopefully post a couple pictures today or tomorrow! :)

Hi,  myselfand my partner are also getting married at the moon palace & have also been advised of this new change and the further hidden fees chrges.  I have however called Thomas Cook and they have assured me that the $460 includes bloods and translation of docs etc and that there are no other fees payable.  Have you been told something different?  We too wanted to have a wedding abroad to make it easier but I have tosay i feel its a bit of a nightmare!!  When are you getting married?

Thanks!  I don't remember her name (I'll have to look at my binder) but she was apparently the best and she had to re-do my hair 3 times....  Alberto is amazing- he made the girls' hair look EXACTLY like the pictures they showed him!!! We were in the Golf Course Salon.

hi kelly...

who ever you spoke to are not right ive just been told we have to pay..$460 hotel admin and gov fees

$40/60 each document that needs tranlating

                                                                                                     $190 blood tests each

 total cost $920

which i suppose is just the same as paying for a church at home but when you think about how much we pay for the holiday to start with they should at least try to keep this down as low as possible..

we get married the 25 feb 2013 so only 13 weeks to go :) ..when do you get married ?? x

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
