We have just returned from our 9 days at Moon Palace. We were there during Hurricane Ernesto, but it quickly moved through and cleared up in time for all of our guests to arrive in time. After the storm passed through, the weather behind it was absolutely perfect for the rest of the week. It was amazing. The week was great. The wedding was incredible. I will write a long, detailed review as soon as I settle in. I have a ton of photos to share as well. I am happy to answer any questions, no matter how small or large.

Did you leave all your vauables (wedding bands,etc) in the safe?

Yes, everything was left in the safe in the room. Wallets, credit cards, cash, wedding rings, passports, watches, etc. We had over 50 people spread out among 25 rooms and not a single guest had any issue with theft at all. The only complaint I heard about housekeeping was that they didn't bring enough towels/washcloths. That was literally the only complaint from one guest.

For those of you who were corresponding with Juana Moreira in the Miami office, I sent her something this morning and got this out-of-office response:

 

"Thank you very much for your e-mail.  I wanted to let you know that I will be leaving Palace Resorts Weddings as of Tuesday, August 14th, 2012. It has been a pleasure to serve you and be a part of such a special day for you. But don’t worry, I have delivered your entire file to RICARDO ACOSTA and he will be responding to this e-mail directly. There is no need to resend your e-mail, all messages are being automatically sent to him.
Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to work with you on this special occasion. I know you will have a great experience. Congratulations, and thank you for choosing Palace Resorts."

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
