Any reviews of her work with moon palace brides or pictures would be helpful :)

We used Sarah Sproullie for our passport invites.  She was very thorough, the invites came quickly, and they were worth the extra money to have her do them.  I highly recommend her if you are interested in passport invites.  If you give me a few mintues...I can take some photos of one we have left over, and I will post it here for you to see it.  They are great.  Almost every one of our guests called to say how amazing our invitations were.  Hope this helps...Ill try to post a couple photos in a minute.

Here you go.  They are not the greatest photos...but should give you a decent idea of what the final product looks like.

Hi Cynthina28,

We used Sarah for both out STDs and Invites.  You can find this in my planning thread as well as a review under the vendor section.

Does anyone know the measures of the round table that is used in Moon Palace for outdoor/indoor receptions?

I am looking forward to buy my own table runners and sashes :), but I am not sure the measures for the table runners...

I am looking at this page: http://www.tableclothsfactory.com

Is there any other place online recommended where I can get them? confused.gif

Thanks, we are in the same position. They keep saying they will not secure locations until we arrive, but we are calling and emailing them like crazy. My FI is getting pretty upset with the service we are getting, it is stressful enough to plan a destination wedding without knowing where you are getting married.

Thanks I needed to vent. I hope things get better.

Have any of you ladies had an trouble with your guests booking their hotel stay? We did not go through a travel agent so we had to email all of our guests our booking link, and twice now people have called saying the site is not working. Most recently being today, when my cousin called me bc she has been trying to book her room for over a week... She finally called the 800 number provided on the website and they told her my link was deactivated. The rooms I blocked off are blocked until sept 7, so there is plenty of time left for our guests to book. I emailed Michelle farinas in the Miami office stressing to her how frustrated this is for me and my guests and how it is deterring our guests from wanting to stay at moon palace and she is not the least bit concerned. Their customer service is terrible, it is definitely hard enough planning a destination wedding let alone having to deal with all of your guests calling bc they cannot book their rooms. Also the link on the website to book hotel transfers does not work, so now I have to email every guest their email address so they can get to and from the resort. Just wanted to give all those who did not book through a travel agent that their link maybe disfunctioning!

I used the link on the website to book my airport transfers just last week. It's works perfectly fine. The only trick is, you need to know your confirmation number and which section of the resort you are staying in, for it to allow you to book your transfers. It does work though. I successfully booked my airport transfers using the link on the palace resorts website just a few days ago. I'm assuming the transition of dismantling the Miami offices (which is exactly what they are currently doing) is what is causing the issue of your guests not being able to book their rooms through the website link you were provided. I would get in touch with someone from the Cancun office and get it straightened out. I don't think Michelle Farinas would be of much help, she is located in the Miami offices, and I believe that department is being terminated completely.

I believe the tabes are 6' (72") round. I had initially thought about buying my own tablecloths and table runners, but after calculating the cost of them, space/weight/cost to fly them, cost to have them set up, and the zero use I have for them afterward, it made more sense to just rent them from Zuniga.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
