Anyone?

We're considering Arrecifes (sp?) or Palapa Fragata. I know that Arrecifes has an outside area that is semi-private. I'm concerned that it will be really hot (dinner starting at 6 or 6:30) and that it will be too MEAT oriented (we have at least one vegetarian/fish eater). I don't know much about Palapa Fragata, I have heard the seafood is good but have no idea if it would be good for a dinner "reception". Thoughts or advice?

I think we'll just use the cocktail hour for our first dance, and go to the disco after dinner.

Thanks!

Palapa Fragata is an outdoor open air restarant location.  If you are concerned about it being too hot, I would stick with Arrecifes.  They at least have indoor seating if its too warm outside.

We won't get pro pics for awhile but Gonzalo was fabulous and I'll share as soon as I get them! Kudos too to the wonderful Sara Tamargo. I will write reviews as soon as possible.

Jamie, I saw a little peak of you and your group taking pictures on the beach. You looked beautiful!! I can't wait to hear about the rest.

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs.!  I'm glad to hear your wedding was wonderful and hope the small things didn't put a damper on things.  I'm looking forward to reading your review.

I am making OOT bags but adding more gift types of items rather than medicine cabinet items. But how going to a favor website and seeing what they got? I am doing shot glasses (for the young people and wine glasses for the elders), and making sand glass holder souvenirs. Just think, what would you like to get from a wedding :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
