hey girl. I am going to email you my emails with the tour guy so you can see what you can book in advance. You should definitely book the dolphin swim before you go but you need to know exactly who is doing what. I did not book beforehand because everyone was giving me different answers and than I booked it when we first got there because it gets booked up fast and i wanted all of us to go together and I had to use my room for a few of the people that weren't there because you must have a room number for them to make the reservations. So I gave them my credits for that but it was worth having all of us together and the truth is I was too busy to use all my credits anyway. You can make all of you tour arrangements when you get there for everyone but have everyone's room numbers written down because that is how they assess the points. Try to do what you can before you go so you definitely get what you want. And the aquajungle was the most fun we had also. def do that. I am emailing you the info now. here is the guy :Xochitl Esquivel Solis  email: xesquivel@palaceresorts.com

I bet she can answer those questions for you. Plus it's an added contact for you. Also here's the fonts I used on the boarding passes....Angelina, Bradley, Tropicana ( flip flops, sunscreen, palm tree), Ocean_Iacy (shells & starfish), Hibiscus and Tempus Sans. The fonts for Tropicana, Ocean and Hibiscus I got off of datfont and these were free, just have to download on your computer.

Boo- I didn't book under a membership- the jungle tour sounds fun! I wonder how much it is without the membership!

Thanks Diane!!! I will be booking before I go if I can! I'll start bugging people in Sept/Oct to see what everyone wants to do! I wonder if I can get the room numbers for everyone before we go if I am booking through a Travel agent and how that works if people decide to upgrade their rooms when they arrive with resort credits.  If not I will just use our room number.

Does the dolphin swim only go on certain days?

yep I agree this was the best tour and we also rented one van for $180 for 22 of us and had the absolute best time of our trip. I think it is a waverunner. here are 2 pics of the waverunner which you go on a half hour ride to a reef where they tie all the skis together and you go snorkeling for a half hour and there is one pic of the twister ride that was great fun and fit all of my 22 people.

I think the dolphin swim goes everyday. On the sheet I was emailed it said Mon-Sat but we did ours Sunday! And definitely book as soon as you can bc they book up quick. We tried the whole waiting for everyone to get there and telling them what we booked etc etc and it ended up taking up so much time and was very stressful.

FYI check if you can book it anyway because some of my guests that didn't book under the membership still booked this tour with the resort credits. ask that guy from the email and just tell him that you want to book that tour using the credits and don't mention the membership issue and see what happens.

Aww that looks like fun! I'll have to find away to use our resort credits for the aqua twister!!! :)

Thanks ladies! I think I'm going to send out an email to everyone this week as a kind of "poll" to see what everyone would be interested in doing as far as tours go! :)

Glad to hear that the dolphin tour is every day! I want to definetly do something off the resort on Sunday- (our wedding is Friday).

I was able to book the dolphin swim and golf tee times ahead of time for everyone in my party.

She was able to search my guests and charge the activities to their individual rooms. The only thing you need to do is go to the bookings desk and get your slip from them to take with you to the activities such as the dolphin swim. It was much easier as I had to spend no time at the reservations desk!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
