Shan,

Please make sure that they have worked with and know how to navigate MP's security or they will not get past the gate!

I am in contact with http://www.cherryblossom.com.mx. They have been great communicators thus far! Their prices are comparable to Marvin's.  Their website is actually down right now under contruction, but email them and they will get back to you right away! :) Let me know if they work out for you!

Good luck! :)

Let me tell you that MP goes all out for EVERYONE especially the BRIDE & GROOM!  we had absolutely NO problems at all.  The staff are so friendly and want nothing more to please you.  It's so sad that the Miami office takes this away because of their lack of communication....from this site one would think that OMG they don't listen etc.. but believe me MP the staff in Mexico HEARS US loud and clear.  They go above and beyond.

It's not often you find a large group who LOVED everything!  But my group did and many said "OMG if I would have known it was going to be like this I would have stayed longer." or "Damn are you guys coming back here for your honeymoon, if so I'm coming to."

When the past brides post "RELAX, YOUR DAY WILL BE BEAUTIFUL"  they mean it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  and I back this up 100000000%

MP does not charge a fee (you don't mention anything in your own site meeting) Marvin will simply meet you in the lobby!  Nice flowers Emily

Contragulations, first of all!! I can't wait to see the pictures!

I wanted to ask, did MP charge you a "vendor fee" to get the flowers from Marvin? Also, how much were they, if I may ask?

Thanks in advanced!!

Thanks so much!  No there was no vendor fee, like Coco said when I was asked if I needed any other flowers in the meeting I said I was all set and that was it.  I just got a phone call from the front desk that he was there with my flowers and I sent a groomsmen down to get them.  The bridesmaid bouquets were $55, boutonnieres were $15, corsage was $20, and I got 2 pomanders for decoration for $35.

Ladies,

Please please please help me to help you!  Here's the deal, I have 2 detailed reviews to write (Final planning thread, Moon Palace Review), about 3-4 vendor reviews to do and to post tons of pics that I took for the forum I started "pictures of different areas of Moon Palace"  I started the review (OMG this is hard work), I would say that I am about 1/2 (not really) done.  So maybe by Sunday-Monday at the latest provided nothing big happens this way.

Minus the final planning thread (which I'm still navigating through pictures) what would you rather see first?  What would help you the most.

I'll piggy back off of beatyea about Marvin and as such will eliminate the extensive review in my final post!  We purchased the following:

1 Bridal bouquet $125

6 Brides bouquet (to be used as centerpieces when they ladies entered) $45.00 a piece total $270

2 bouts for the Groom and best man $15.00 each total $30

4 bouts for groomsmen and my uncle 15.00 each total $60

2 Mother's corsages $20.00 each total $40.00

Total $525 + 25 delivery charge.

These are iPhone pictures but Ivan I'm sure captured them all... I won't have professional pics till June

Mine is the one with the roses.. I used this as my through away bouquet.  Just a thought!!!  Don't purchase a bridal bouquet through Marvin unless MP can't give you what you want!  I loved my roses from MP and used those instead.

FYI Marvins stems are pretty long..so blume boxes are not ideal!!!  If you really want to use blume boxes be sure to bring your own cutters just in case.  I also told him I needed them at 1 but my wedding didn't start until 5.... I allowed for delays etc.. in this ;-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
