So yesterday 1 pair of my son's shoes came in and today the other.  Either one of these will be used for his to wear during the wedding ceremony.  I love my son to pieces and he is my 1 and only (I can not bare anymore children), so we got a dog LOL  In either case, I can't do frilly stuff that mom's would do for their daughters, so I had to get his shoes to match in color to mine.

Mine: Two Lips by Christian Louboutin

His:  1st shoe by Circa (he loves this style of shoe, he's my skateboarding scientist ;) 2nd is a shot out to FI & I, we love our Old School Hip Hop and R&B (this is the era that we grew up in).  "My Adidas" by Run DMC

In addition, he will rock the blue tie (below), along with the other groomsmen.  FI & the best man will rock the pink & blue.

Last but not least, one of my flower girls mom has a side business at Stella & Dot, so these little bracelets were purchased from her and will be given to our flower girls on the wedding day.  The rings (flower) are still on back order rolleyes.gif

15 days until we depart and 19 before the "I DO's" woot2.gifwoot.gifpinkie.gif  so exciting.  I'll finish packing this week to weekend. Wednesday my braces come off and I get my retainer.... YAY!  a Friday-Sunday I'll run around with my family so they can get their accessories... and I need to make a VS run shhhhhh......  angel1.gif  on the 11th I will have my teeth whitened, last day of work is on the 12th and hair done on the 13th (my locstress is coming to Mexico) so she will do everything on the 13th to make it easy and quick on the wedding day.  On the 16th, I will print our boarding passes, take my Cesar to the Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas at 10am and then pick up my dress at 1pm.. and we leave on the 17th at 8:25 am... Whew....

Anyway, I promise to take as many pictures as humanily possible in the midst of it all.  I come back on the 25th but won't be home home until the 27th.  At that time I will jump on here and tell you all that I can in an informal manner while putting the final thread together which will include pictures and templates.  In the mean time, I have my pre-planning thread up at

Congrats to Alaharri, LadiDi, and krsmith on becoming MRS, too (and if I've forgotten anyone, my apologies)!!  And best wishes to Coconoir, as you're packing and putting together the last few things before your wedding!  I know I've said this a bunch, but you all are so amazing and supportive.  It's mostly because of you all that we had the wedding of our dreams!!

So pleased to report that everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect. I'm working on a DIY planning thread (already posted some entries - about 15 more to go, LOL).  Plus, I just finished my MP Review:

Hi AlmostMrsRJF

I emailed her and heard back on (fri) 30th.  I just want to make sure my ceremony and reception locations were booked and I did ask some other questions. She said Karlena was my coordinator (I think) and that she needed my room list, which I am having my TA send me this week.

She didnt answer any of my questions, but once she has my list I guess she can. Im not really sure who she works for (Miami or Moon Palace directly) and Im not stressing too much since Im not absolutly sure what im doing for other events.

Hopefully you hear from her soon.

With 15 days to go, I am so ecstatic to report that all bags wedding & OOT related are packed. Each bag has their own tag which correlates to my spreadsheet of what's in them. No I'm not that Type A when it comes to planning....on second thought lol. But seriously, I have a few BMs taking bags so I want to know who has what since they are arriving 2 days after us. The last bag (candy & shot glasses) are waiting FI's transport to the basement where all the other bags are (its easier this way since well be loading up & leaving via the garage. Now ALL of my attention can truly go towards clothing....for myself & the lil man as FI states "you know I'm packing last minute right" gotta love him... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Congratulations!  I can't wait to read your review either.  I'm glad to hear that the concierge level room is nice.  We're having that one too.  Enjoy your honeymoon!

We had planned for the wedding group to party there but they closed it the night before. So we ended up partying with Janel's wedding party in the Sunrise lobby where they had music and dancing so it all worked out. :) Its been a wonderful experiance, We upgraded our room to the concierge level this trip and I would definatly recommend it. They did so many extra touches, 3 times a day I would come into my room with a new surprise! It was great!! Ok back to my vacation.

I did hear from her today to schedule a call to go over everything.  I'm hoping to nail down details with her this week.  I believe she works out of Miami though, so I'm not sure who my on-site coordinator is.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
