I think we may take that route. Did you all use the transfers when you visited? Great to see you are in Myrtle Beach, we live in Raleigh, NC but my family has a house in North Myrtle and spend most of the weekends in the summer down there!

Thanks again!

Anyone else getting married that first week of November?

Sooo I decided to contact Marvin and I am so excited I did..he did mock ups of my centerpieces and bridesmaids bouquets and I am so in love!!! The price is soo cheap in comparision with what MP wanted to charge me and I dont need to lug everything down and back with me..And one of my good friends said she would meet him, set them and my linens up and get her a gift for doing so! Definitely trying to avoid the $250 setup charge if that is actually what they are charging..

these our the centerpieces hes created..my fiance loves captain with limes so i thought it was cute to incorporate that in it all..then is my bridesmaids bouquets

Those look awesome!! What email(s) did you use for Marvin?  I'm going to be contacting him in the next few weeks and I wanted to see which email you used! How long did it take for him to respond to your initial email?

I did the initial contact through his webpage then he responded within a day or so with questions then samples. I have found him to be fast at responding to me questions and such. He respondes to Marvin José Ku Kinil <marvin@mayafloral.com> for his email. He is charging $85 for each centerpiece and $60 for each bouquet, which I dont think is expensive at all esp because we are only going to have 2-3 tables! I couldnt be happier..it saves me time by not having to search for real touch flowers or creating them and $ by not using the resort, baggage etc.

I am waiting on coursages and boutonaire pictures now..will post pics and prices when he sends them!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
