Congratulations in advance!  I hope you have a safe and wonderful trip, with no drama, and the wedding you dreamed of!!!!

And I must bow to your 25 DIY projects!  1-pray.gif

What's next on my list:

- Packing

- Packing

- More Packing!

I've pretty much accomplished everything off my to-do list (which feels AMAZING since it was outrageously long with 25 DIY projects included, haha).  YAAAAAYYY!!!

I forgot to share that my fiance's family threw me a surprise shower the weekend before last.  It was so awesome of them, and I feel so incredibly blessed to be joining their family.  And tomorrow, my work is throwing me a shower!!  I feel so fortunate and spoiled -- 3 showers for me!!!

Yesterday, my FI got his braces off, and he looks SO great! I cried because he said he's never felt this great about his smile in his life.

So, I'm in beaming bride-to-be land!  Gonna go pour some wine and watch the Bachelor episode from last night. :) CHEERS!!

Thanks

This is the type of behavior from Moon Palace wedding coordinators that really frustrates me.  I do understand that they have a ton of weddings to deal with on a daily basis, but they really should set aside a couple hours of their work day to return any and all emails.  Its crazy to me that they can just go days or weeks without returning emails.  smile35.gif

Chipmunk- I'm going through the exact same thing!!!!  I have yet to hear from Ivis and I'm 70 days out and Geraldine said she would have her contact me once I told her I hadn't heard from her, but that was 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard anything!  I'm so frustrated!!!!!!  If it was like this at the beginning- I think I would be choosing another resort!

Thanks ladies!! I'm so glad to have that checked off the list.

Coco - I asked my coordinator something similar to that yesterday. She said that you can stick with the original package that you had when you signed your contract. I was asking in reference to the dinner reservations because the 2011 packages are for 35 people and the new packages are for 30.  I asked about going with the new complimentary package but keeping the 35 people and she said no. So of course we will be sticking to make sure we have enough room for everyone at dinner. I would think the same would apply to your question but we all know how they are you might ask to be certain.

ndvidul - So happy for you!!! Good luck on packing and take a few moments to relax and not stress to much. Can't wait to hear how it all goes and see the pictures!!

For those of you still looking for clear luggage tags we bought some today.....100 for $18 and the loops for $14. The website is www.clearbags.com.  They aren't the rigid ones but they were CHEAP and that works for me.

Couple of items down for the OOT bags. Received my order from Vistaprint which was the luggage tags (free), reminder postcards ($11) to send out later this month for those we haven't received RSVPs for, and stickers for the first aid kits. I'll see if I post a picture tomorrow. Depends on how my little boy is feeling, he's been running fever and sore throat all day, if he's out of school again tomorrow I'll be back on wedding planning.

Next item is designing programs and welcome booklet for the bags. Still searching for the bags themselves but not stressing yet. Spring break is near and I'll have a few days to hunt for the right one.

Have a great night!! Happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
