Hola Chicas!

I hope you all had a great weekend!  I finally put down the deposit on my sister's dresses!  They will both be in a fuchsia color.  Since they are completely different I am a little worried about the colors matching (enough) but it should be fine!  My older sister is 41 and my younger sister is 22, so they have completely different tastes and since I wanted fuschia dresses they had to get actual BM dresses.  Because of this, I let them pick the dress they like the best on themselves.  Here are the pix of the dresses they picked.

The first pic is of my older sister-Her dress will be more fuchsia/hot pink she is covering a huge flower that she will detach once she receives the dress!

Second pic of my younger sis-Again will be in fuchsia/hot pink

Well, we decided to get married prior to going to Mexico only because PA stated that they do not recognize marriages in another country (go figure) so there was no need to file anything.  So to avoid any future problems we will get married prior to.

Like Coco, we getting married here first too, just to save us the hassle of having to work out the legalities later.

I know, right!?!?  People used to think I was the older sister :(  and I am 8 1/2 years younger than her.  HAHAHA!  Thankfully for me, most don't think that anymore.  She is super young looking!

Like these two ladies, we are also getting married in the states. Our reason was so my Granny could be includes in our wedding somehow. But I'm thankful we decided on this because I was also concerned about this. Also, I think it will save us about $500 to get marries beforehand and have a symbolic ceremony. Only 8 days until we legally tie the knot!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
