Sdamian1,

This dress is absolutely Gorgeous!!!!!!!!  I love love love the detail.  Now that you found the perfect man and perfect dress...you must rock the perfect pair.  Can't wait to see!

Awe... I was so caught up in your dress that I just read the nomination that you gave me.  You are the bestest ever woot.gifI humbly accept your nom but heck, I'm a no stress kind of gal and I don't want others to stress either so I plan in advance and will help others anyway that I can.  But on the same note I can't stand BS TeeHee life is too short for crap.

Happy Planning beautiful one.

Alright Ladies it's FRIDAY.  It's time to party, relax and get your DIY on!

I am package happy, sort of rolleyes.gif  Well remember a few post back where I purchased a whole bunch of stuff (well some came in).  FI had the nerve to open a box that was address to me.  He called me while in training and said "babe I opened a box and ummm"  I immediately knew that the box he opened was his PlayStation 3 that I purchased for his bday on the 22nd.  Being in training I couldn't argue so I just hung up the phone.  Being super pissed I sent him a text that said "I love you but even in marriage do not open my mail"  When I came home his face was so pitiful so I played on his emotions the whole nite (I know I know).  But even after that I told him that he better not touch it until his Bday.  Well he follows rules to the hilt because all the packages today where piled up LOL

The packages included my birdcage veil (which ummm I may not wear although beautiful) I have to see how it will look with my dress to determine this.  There's something about trying on bridal stuff in regular clothes that just don't cut it.  The second box were the centerpieces (so I thought).  These are BlumeBoxes purchased from Blumebox.com.  These are really cute and have great potential if you DIY the hell out of them BUT  I purchased the Fuschia ones (the blue was tooooooo light).  And when looking at these I said WTF why did I do that because my flowers are pink.  ugh  totally a dumb moment and potentially a hasty purchase.

Birdcage veil without the fascinator (it has swaroski crystals and pearls on the end) this will match my wedding sash perfectly.

here are pictures...  BirdCage Veil from powderbluebijoux on etsy.jpg

blumeboxes... great idea maybe the wrong color... unless I DIY them in Blue I'll see what FI thinks

These are phone pictures not the best quality but at least you get the feel.  The flowers are totally not it but what I had to throw in the boxes really quick.  Our flowers will come from Marvin.

Scratching my head....

2)  "Got the invite today.  That's probably the coolest invite we've ever got.  Good job.  We are not gonna be able to make it though.  Thank you very much for the invite and thinking about us."

3)  "Holy $#!%!  Such a cool wedding invitation!!  How did you make it smell like hte beach!?"

So there we are!!  SUCCESS --- at least from an excitement factor, which is what we were going for!  Now, hopefully, they will check out the website and get even more excited and book. :)

I mean, it must be good if we got 2 "Holy $#!%"'s, right?!?  Hahaha.  :)

Plus, I'm psyched that someone thinks they smell like the beach!  I scented the corks like WAY to early (like 5 weeks early, haha), so that's awesome!

On cloud 9!!!  Happy Planning today, beautiful women!  Thanks for celebrating with me. So thankful for you all.

At this point I am so not sure!!  It was too costly to only have one shipped as the shipping would have cost more than 1 blumebox (crazy right).  I have 10 days to contact them if I wish to return it.  Since we are using the BM's bouquet as the main centerpiece and their flowers will be pink I'm so not sure.  I'll talk to FI this weekend to see what he thinks but my gut says 10 days is counting down..

What projects have you worked on? Finished etc..

Girl wipe those tears.... once you get your invites you will immediately forget that you didn't hear from Sarah (she is that damn good).  If you told her a date that you needed them buy and you sent her the money, they will be there.  She typically sends them (overnight or priority with delivery confirmation) 2-3days before your due date.

Post post post ;-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
