Okay, so besides addressing 2 more invites...

after over 6 weeks of DIY Message in a Bottle invites.... with friends and family also helping... they are done!!!!  Now, as soon as I get my booking link for our group block reservation, I can send them out ---- hopefully next week!

Hope you enjoy these pictures.  BTW, the idea totally wasn't mine - I got it from an amazing thread on here when I searched "Save the Date Invitations."

P.S.  There are 90 of them!!  I think it took easily about 35 hours to do these.

I have a question about the Group Benefits described on the Moon Palace wedding website. It says if you have 75 room nights you get unlimited private functions and this is what is driving me to book at this resort. I emailed the wedding coordinator but thought maybe someone could answer this for me sooner....

In order to have the 75 required room nights, must those nights be booked with the Moon Palace travel coordinator or can I have my own TA handle the bookings for us?

Thanks ladies!

Well despite being a little under the weather this weekend I have managed to get the invites together and ready to be sent out tomorrow.  They will be sent off in two different mailings on Monday we will mail off those that live far away CO, TX, AK etc.. (I had some family & friends calling saying where is my invite when the PA,NJ, & MD folks had already gotten theirs) and then on Wednesday/Thursday mail off all the other invites.

Next to finalize our wedding decor, & make a final decision on FI's ring and wait for our final wedding count....

Happy Planning

Thanks, Leenancy!  We're personally delivering those we can, but that will probably only be like 5-10.  The rest will be shipped - about $2.50 each I think.  I will find out this week hopefully!!

You can have it done through your TA as well!  Just know that anyone that books outside of your TA (the group booking) does not count toward your group (i.e travelocity, kayak etc..) even if they are coming to your wedding.  Also it must be for 3 or more nights. hope this helps

Thanks leenancy,  just hoping to be done done done (at least as much as one can be) before the holiday's.  That way if there is something that we would like to add (just in case we get free events & want to splurge) I can look for sales during Black Friday and the Christmas.

Let me know if you need any help (templates etc..) y

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
