So on the palace website it says that people have to book by Oct 31st to receive the resort credits.... does anyone know what the next promotion is or if they are extending it?  Not all my guests will book by then, but I do have an email saying all of my guests will receive that promo, but I'm nervous they will still try to give me a hard time.

Hey Ladies,

 

Michaels is having a crazy sell....20%off of your entire purchase (including sale items) these coupons did not appear on my app but on the michaels website itself and are date and time specific. Upon check out you will receive (State specific maybe) another coupon for 40%off a regular priced item which is good until the 24th.  Since they only allow you to use one coupon at a time... I went right back into the store and used my app for 50% off a regular priced item yay... Had to buy a new cutter (while replacement is being worked on) and it only cost $21 buck...  

 

Gotta love Michaels

Thanks!  I got my contract changed to at least say we can have an outside photog but have to get them a room for at least 1 night.  I feel ok about that.  I contacted La Luna to check their pricing as I do know they have a great relationship with the palace resorts.  I am still waiting to hear from them, but I have a feeling they may still be out of our price range  :(  which is too bad, I love Del Sol and La Luna!  But I will wait to hear back from them.

 

I thought about Marvin as well...So many girls do it without issues, but I assume they will catch on very soon.

I'm glad that you feel better about your contract.  A one night stay made FI & I feel comfortable since many Miami coords go back and forth about day passes.  We felt it best to factor in the cost now than to be surprised later.  q

 

As far as Marvin, he has been doing this for quite sometime and the reason that I felt comfortable with choosing him versus taking our own flowers which also proved expensive (going the real touch route).  With someone in your wedding party meeting him, I feel that MP can't even begin to get into this one.  But we all feel different ways about certain aspects of our wedding.

 

I too love love love love Del Sol but as you stated they too are out of our price range.  But I absolutely love our house which marks our 5th month in....  ;-)

I may be looking into Marvin then.  You are probably right!  Bigger concern was the photog.

 

We bought our house in April, and I too, love our house, so I am willing to look at different photogs because of that.  There are so many other great ones that aren't as expensive.  This site has been so helpful with my research for photogs!

pps...I can't believe I forgot this one.  I want fuchsia shoes for my wedding, went to DSW on my lunch break and found the cutest pair!  I bought them!  HA!  Hopefully they will work, since I don't even have my dress.  but I knew I wanted this color!!!  I guess I can take them back if they don't work for whatever reason!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
