bump.gif  MP wont' let you use fake rose petals.  I was going to purchase from flyboynaturals.com however; since I'm using Marvin for our flowers, I decided it would be best to get the petals from here.  Othwerise I read that ladies simpl split the petals up in their luggage.

As far as sasches, or final numbers will be deicded once everyone book their trip.  However; MP will move them from your wedding locations to the reception.  I am brining a few extra to have the cocktail site decorated as well.  To rent these from MP/Deco is expensive.  I'm using tablefactory.com and weddinglinensdirect.com have great sashes I'm purchasing from the latter as the colors match perfectly.

paper lanters can be found everywhere but lunabazaar.com, paperlanternstore.com & efavormart.com has some great prices.  hope this helps.

Your ideas on decorating have got my wheels turning.  Are the rose petals going to be real?  If so, how are you going to get them through customs?  Also, may I ask, how many sashes are you bringing and what cost did you find them for?

I love the idea of paper lanterns or pomanders.  I'm still deciding on my colors - I'm definitely doing blue.  I was thinking blue and brown with maybe a hint of coral.  What are your colors?

I was trying to find my email from Marvin about how he will deliver the flowers.  He has been delivering to Moon forever!  I deleted them when he sent me the contract ;-()  Sorry.  But OMG the pictures that he sent me after I sent him my Inspiration pictures were so gorgeous.

My only dilemma (which is no longer) was to find out what to do with the complimentary bouquet that MP gives (which are to die for-so I have heard).  Anyway, I decided to use the MP complimentary bouquet for our TTD which will be at 6 or we will leave at 6am the next morning.

Great idea for the use of the bridal bouquet.  Who are you using for Makeup and Hair for TTD?  I'm thinking that it'd be good if the makeup is waterproof.  Do you have any idea how you're going to do your hair for it?  I feel like I look a mess when my hair gets wet...

For make-up I booked Norma Perez in Cancun.  Since bringing my make-up artist from home proved to much $$$$  and I didn't want to fuss with getting make-up etc..  Norma will also come with for our TTD.  She was recommended on this site and have tons of pictures from brides of all skin tones on her site/FB.  My hair is natural - I have Sisterlocks so my hair can be wet for days  will look the same unless styled.  My Bridesmaids will do each others hair and/or opt to to go the Salon (but I highly doubt the latter will happen.)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
