Moon Palace 2012 Brides

Recommended Posts

Havenâ€t been on here in a few days, ladies -- still spending every waking moment making MIB invites, it seems!!  Great to catch up on here.  Missed ya'll.

DP-Deer:  welcome.gif Iâ€ll be using Octavio Montes for our photographer.  Iâ€m super pumped because weâ€re on a tight budget, and heâ€s got raving reviews for the best prices Iâ€ve seen.  Weâ€re doing a trash the dress with him, too on the beach and at a cenote!  My plan is to just buy a day pass.  It seems like plenty of other brides have done that, and it has worked for them.  Also, we are wedding month sisters!  Ours is 4 days after yours. J

Krsmith: Stunning photos!!  Your love for each other radiates.  Love your shoes, too!

Coconoir: OMG - gorgeous jewelry.  The necklace is beautiful.

MrsBruff: Adorable video.  I love how it captures your natural family at home.  People will be so excited to save the date!

welcome1.gif, Teresa421!

No need for jealousy our date is full to the brim, so hopefully we will be able to get some "extras" and everything will be on point.

Hello Beatyea,

I have photographed in side the Capilla, if it is the one I am talking about, it is a closed gazebo, with big windows all around, with a lot of light coming trough, at the first I was affraid of shooting inside, but the pics are nice, the only thing is that you may lost the ocean background... ohhhh, it has A/C

hope it was of some help.

Gonzalo

On one of my contracts it says that the group promotion for "free cocktail with booking 5 rooms or 15 room nights) or more" it says that the promo doesn't apply if you choose a complimentary ceremony.

My TA is in the process of sorting this out.  Anyone else experience this?

Not at all!!  One of the reasons that we choose MP was for the perks.

I'm sorry to hear this.  Were you able to try the Bugamalias Gazebo (wrong spelling), is she able to send you pictures?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
