For what I need,  coupled with her having pictures of women of color with a natural make-up look YES!  Most you'll have to contact (I deleted my info) but I do recall that Adrian's list did combine make-up and hair as a set-price but, then also listed the price of these services individually.

Sara's and Norma's were the same.  However; I don't need my hair to be done so the price was adjusted to reflect only make-up which is $75.  For me this is reasonable as I pay $55 for my make-up consultant to do mine in Philly.

Hey Ladies,

Just  checking in to see how everyone is doing?  Well let me say that I have checked off the following over the last 2 weeks:

*Make-up artist (no longer flying mine from Philly): Mexico artist booked Norma Perez (I had a hard time picking between her and Sara Tamagro sister of Sol from DelSol Photography.) Both of there work was very nice, however; Norma had more pictures of brides she has done for me to view.

*I purchased my bridesmaids dresses (my gift to them) these are the convertible signature dress made by Butter by Nadia.  I also purchased the ball gown length of the same color as my MOH to use for my TDD.  I didn't want to do my TTD in a white.

*Ordered sample sand to see what colors we were using for our sand ceremony.  FI and I chose the colors and I will order next week.

*My something blue shoes are ordered and on their way.  I chosen the Christian Louboutin Open Lips.  (I posted these in the show me your shoes forum)

*Going to the Lazaro trunk show on the 30th to meet the designer Lazaro himself, to purchase my dress & have him sketch me in the dress..  I'm so dying for next week to come.

*Next week will order 2 suits from StudioSuits to see which one FI will use for the wedding.  From there we will order the groomsmen suits which is FI's gift to them.

Well I think that is it for me ;-)

Hi rae12vb! I got this from one of the Moon Palace 2011 brides. It's good thru December 23, 2012.  Hope it helps!

Golf is normally $260 per round.  If you play before 7am (I would) its only $220.  You can use your resort credits for golf, but not for clubs.  Club rental is $50 per set.

There is a link to the golf rates on the palaceresorts website.  Here you go:  http://www.palaceresorts.com/resorts/moon-palace/golf/packages

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
