Also I bought my shoes yesterday! I found them on Ebay for $79! I LOVE them! I did want pink originally, but I couldn't find my size, and I worried it wouldn't match the pink crinoline I got from Vgirl! I will just have to add a little more pink somewhere else too!

My sister/ MOH is 19 so thats why we are doing it down there as well!  I'm thinking we are going to do it 2 days before the wedding...I've done something similar to this the last time we went to Cancun and it was so much fun and really the best way to go out downtown to the big name clubs- so much cheaper!

That is such a good question! My little sisters are 18 and are DYING to do a bachelorette party down there since they can drink legally! I will have to make sure we do it WELL in advance of the wedding though...I'd hate to be hungover!

Great taste (I'm actually looking at the pink ones) along with a few other choices.  Don't know if I will do my shoes as my "something blue" or if I will go with pink. If Pink I have my eyes on these babies ;-)

Hola,

The make-up artist that I have booked is Norma Perez she is very reasonable and will also do my TTD make-up.  Before deciding on her I looked into Sara Tamagro sister of the infamous Del Sol Photography and Adrian.  Both reasonable as well.

We were thinking of going to CocoBongo downtown Cancun but this may change.

It's been a minute since my last post, but I wanted to congratulate you all on your planning progress. I had to take a break from mine as I was moving like speed racer to get things done. Now that I am back in the wedding planning mode, I could use a little help.

I booked my photographer--Sweetfire Photography--and I am extremely excited about, but now I am looking for a reasonably priced make- up artist.

cheesy.gif  Any recommendations?

Also, I would like to have a girls night on the town in Cancun and was wondering if any of you knew of any packages that I could research. I saw something for Playa del Carmen--PlayaCrawl, but nothing for Cancun. Any recommendations?

Gracias Chicas!

@ Coconoir:  Would you mind passing along the contact information for Norma Perez? I would love to reach out to her for some additional information.  Thank you so much!

Norma's information is: nor_maccancun@hotmail.com.  After speaking with her, she told me to request her on Facebook to see more of her work.  It was then, that I decided to do her versus the others.  It's always good to look at sample work since we are all so far.

I don't think you'll be disappointed at all.  The brides are under the title "My MK up Book!"

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
