 merrylee,

Super cute pic!  My BM dresses just came in and we went with Dessy #2823 its a cotton material but still elegant and its very airy and light.  And also on the website they have matching bamboo flip flops that I bought all the girls! (my color is Ocean Blue- but they have sooo many colors)

The color was a little off from what I wanted, but in the end I think it will work out and look great on them! There are a GAZILLION ways to wear them too! Heres a little preview!

We are still waiting on our contract as well since we switched the type of ceremony. I email Janina yesterday to check on the progress of the minister confirmation and her out of office reply came back saying she would be out until July 18th. Ugh! So if MandiCaudle is using her don't expect anything just yet. Maybe someone else will send it sometime this week. I'm not fretting just yet though. I have faith that everything will work itself out eventually.

I'm aiming for 7/12/2012 at the moon palace right now so thought I would drop in to say hi!

I think I'm in the same situation as Bojanglesgirl, I requested 7/12/2012 about a week ago and haven't been emailed since.  I called them real quick and was told that they we're just waiting to hear back from the minister, but they said they would email in another day or two.  I am kinda hoping they email tomorrow, since tomorrow is 7/12/2011 and I kinda want to feel secure in thinking that its one year til the wedding :D

To all the ladies waiting to hear back on your dates:

Don't stress! I promise, that even though they are slower than hard wax drying on your bikini in a hot room (sorry a little Esthetician humor), they WILL get back to you, and most likely you will get exactly what you want! We waited for WEEKS for them to confirm that Father Aguilar was available...and of course it was painful, but I think they just run on a different time table. More than likely they have reserved your spot and are just waiting to confirm who is going to marry you!

Just keep going as if you have it set in stone (maybe not print out STDs just in case) and if it gets to be too much, pick up that phone and keep calling until you get your answers! I'm about to email them and try and beat them down to get a reserved reception/ceremony site as I would like to have that info on my invites.

This is a great dress! I think my girls are going for a similar style from henkaa.com. Your sister looks great.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
