Moon Palace 2012 Brides

My wedding wasn't showing up for a couple of days but when I mentioned it to Janina she said "don't worry, I know your date and time."

If it's in writing I wouldn't stress yourself out too much.

Good Luck!

I know that once I called and found out they had "reserved" our date and were waiting on the confirmation from the judge it showed on the website that it was booked. Fingers crossed that things start getting easier for you!!!

Bojanglesgirl,

Please do not cause any undo stress on yourself!!!   From experience, your wedding date can actually be shown "as unavailable" on the website because they actually reserve your spot, although they have not communicated this with you yet.  A lot of times, they are awaiting confirmation from the person that will performing your ceremony (but they still hold this time for you.)  Call someone....but by no means rely strictly on the website....  as great as technology can be.... it is only as good as the Person entering the information.

So this week my TA and the MP people have been working on our wedding contract.  Today I get the "ok" from the travel agent with dates and prices and all that fun stuff and she tells me to go online and to make sure our date is booked . . .

I go online and it says there are NO weddings to be booked that day!

i've already called Lisa, I actually go a person on the line but it was NOT her.  Apparently Lisa is supposed to be "calling me back" but we know how long that will be. . . .

Am I going mad/bridezilla like here or is this just CRAZY?!?!?!

I have already posted about this on their facebook page but shocking NO response.

Anyone have any issues like this or am I the only "lucky" one?

I agree with Coco....there is no reason to put yourself through the undo stress.  I know it's easier said than done but they are dealing with more than just one bride at a time and I am sure the demands of their time are immense.  Give her some time to call you back, or have your TA call the MP.  I've left all of this type of communication in MY TA's hands.  They are ultimately the ones who have the relationship with the resorts and may have different avenues to seek help through.

Call your TA and let her know the issues and see what you find out from there.

Thanks everyone.  It's nice to get the re-assurance that it will work out.

I would have felt better if they were returning calls my TA.  The only reason I called is because she asked me to, see if we got anywhere sooner.

I'll just have to learn to be patient!

Thanks again.

OK, I finally  had my little sister try on her BM dress, and it turns out it was a good choice! I bought convertible dresses from ideeli when they were on sale, so it was a good buy. The color was a little off from what I wanted, but in the end I think it will work out and look great on them! There are a GAZILLION ways to wear them too! Heres a little preview!

Hey all!

I'm aiming for 7/12/2012 at the moon palace right now so thought I would drop in to say hi!

I think I'm in the same situation as Bojanglesgirl, I requested 7/12/2012 about a week ago and haven't been emailed since.  I called them real quick and was told that they we're just waiting to hear back from the minister, but they said they would email in another day or two.  I am kinda hoping they email tomorrow, since tomorrow is 7/12/2011 and I kinda want to feel secure in thinking that its one year til the wedding :D

So I have to say I am trying to figure out bridesmaid dresses now.  We weren't sure if we'd end up with a bridal party but we now have a MOH and BM.  I think I want short and light and watermelon in color.  Must get to thinking about it since my DRESS IS IN and she just had my nephew.  and I have to share.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
