Para sailer

Picture of B & G playing mini golf *our first date*

Can anyone else think of some fun things?

No, but from what I've read on the 2011 page, that they perform on Thursday nights, so I figure that could be something fun for my guests to do on their own or as a group.  I am trying to inspire exploration of the resort because it is so large and probably overwhelming that if they have a fun mission it might be successful.  Heck I am going to take part in my own scavenger hunt so I can do the same :)

Okay good.....Katie from Zuniga, sent me a youtube link of the dancers.  When we saw that, we decided not to book them ;-)  but will see them perform at the show.

Maybe a picture of a conch shell, or a picture of guest riding bikes through the resort?  So are you going to give them little prizes for the best one..sorry if I missed where you explained it earlier!

Prizes for the photos are going to be framed photos to the winners and that will happen after we get back.  We are doing a photo share with all of our guests *hopefully if they participate* and I think we are going to frame a picture of couple or each guest as a gift for them once we get home.  We'll be down there for 14 days, most of our guests will be leaving after 5 6 or 7 and this way it is something fun for us to enjoy looking at when we get home.

We are also going to do a prize for the mini golf tournament since that was our first date we want to do that in full wedding gear after we say I do and after the cocktail hour.  I wish it was happening tomorrow so I can see how it all turns out :)

Try looking on Tuesday at 3?  Everything says that that is the cheapest time to buy airfare.  Also, try onetravel.com I have found that they have the cheapest rates.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy on the weekends.  They raise the rates.

Coconoir - We found the best prices for April flights were late October, early November. They started to go up around Christmas because people start booking their spring vacations. And yes, usually Tuesday and Wednesday are the best days to check prices. That's when the airlines release specials or sales. Don't forget to try to find charter flights.

Hi Everyone,

I'm also a Moon Palace 2012 bride. The wedding is booked for May 10, 2012, which seems so very far away right now. I stayed at Moon Palace for a week in November 2010 and absolutely fell in love with it. I'm planning on doing OTT bags for my guests and would love any suggestions or helpful hints from anyone who is attempting or has already done the same thing. Looking forward to learning alot from this website.

Ok, I finallyyyy heard from someone at MP about a site visit!  I think it's because my TA put in a call to the Miami office.

She sent me the packages and upgrades and some photos...

For those of you booked already, what package are you doing?  We're thinking the complimentary so we can customize it with colors, flowers, etc.  If you chose this, did you send photos of what you want?

Also, where are you having a reception at?  I would like something indoors with a view of the ocean, or outdoors.  Does anyone have photos of reception locations?  If so, could you send them to me at lindsey.costanza@gmail.com?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
