I do have a TA but the flight is not included.  Grrrr.....She's flying out of Canada so I'm not sure why it's so different.

So if our guests book through the TA at the higher price they receive the difference back if the price drops but if it goes up that doesn't hurt them. And the rates I saw online through MP were slightly more than the rate we were given. Hope this helps some!

Not that I have noticed on this particular blog.  Grand from what I have read, is the more laid back section coming in right after Nizuc (which is the oldest of the 3 sections).  Sunrise is more lively and right in the midst of it all.

We've got our invitations all done, it took a group of 5, 4 hours to complete all 52 MIB invitations.

What a process, but I totally hope that my guests enjoy them and appreciate the effort.  What is everyone else up to with their planning?

That's so awesome MerryLee! Your guest will love them!!!

Planning was put on hold a little as we moved into our new home and still getting settled.  But loving every minute of our "hectic" lives ;-)  My next venture is June 11th when my bridal party and I head out to find "the dress"  I'm praying that my top two are it ;-)  In either case after that, it will be on to picking out our DJ.

What's next on your agenda?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
