Congratulations!!! I want to go through La Luna too and hopefully have a TTD with Del Sol...they are expensive but I think their pictures are amazing and they get really beautiful shots! For La Luna I was going to go with Melissa but she's not available for my day (June 16) so I will probably go with Jonathan. They all have really nice pictures so I think whichever one you choose to go with will do a fantastic job!!!

For out package, we have to be there 3 business days before (arrive before 3pm to make it count) and Vday is on a Tues, so I think we will maybe get there Thurs or Fri before. Its all coming together nicely now! WooHoo! jiggy.gif

 

Thanks ladies for all your help! I almost have my message in a bottle STD done and will hopefully be sending them out by the end of the week. I will post pics before I send the out!

I have already sent out most of my STD's and have been getting responses!!! So far I have 15 people (not counting us) that have said they are going!!! I ordered my STD's before I had my date reserved embarrest.gif. I got magnets from Vistaprint and I typed up a letter to go with them. I also put my website info on the magnet and the letter so people are tentatively RSVPing on the website. std magnet

Oh I LOVE your STD cards!!! Those are from vista print? Do you mind if I ask how much you paid? I think my MOH wants to make mine, but these are really pretty and I sort of want to order ones now....

One way to get control of the reservations being made outside of the resort through bookit or expedia, etc. is to tell guests in the invitation that you are making the reservations through one travel agent and give them their contact information. the travel agent can assist in convincing them to book thru MP directly and get all the benefits with. The other option is to book the guests yourselves. This is what we did. And we had all the guests pay us back. It is not the most safe thing to do if you have more than 20 persons going though. If they cancel, this can be one hefty bill!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
