 I think you have to arrive on the Friday, I believe it is 3 full business days and they do not include Sunday's and you have to arrive before noon or something like that in order for it to be considered a full business day.

Yay! Got our confirmation number for our Immaculate Conception wedding! So excited! Now the next step is setting that up with our TA, and choosing a photographer! I think we are going with La Luna as they more affordable, but I REALLY want to do a TTD with DelSol. My FI saw the price for DelSol and was like "HELLLLLL NOOOO"...I'm sad because they are so incredible, but he said to spend $5k on pictures was out of the question. La Luna is fantastic too, so I'm sure I will be happy with them! I'm just having a HARD time picking which photographer! Jonathan, Melissa, or Rachael...any suggestions/opinions? For out package, we have to be there 3 business days before (arrive before 3pm to make it count) and Vday is on a Tues, so I think we will maybe get there Thurs or Fri before. Its all coming together nicely now! WooHoo! jiggy.gif

 

Thanks ladies for all your help! I almost have my message in a bottle STD done and will hopefully be sending them out by the end of the week. I will post pics before I send the out!

Yay! I got mine today too - but once again read in the contract that no outside vendors are allowed... I am really worried becuase I was going to put my deposit down with our Photographer today.

 

What are you going to do about this situation? I also wanted an outside DJ.... this is starting to make me mad!

Thank you! i actually did call and ...... "they didnt get it" ugh but o'well they took all my info over the phone and now i have to wait until they ask the priest if he is available. i learned my lesson tho no more emailing them and if i do i will call to make sure they get it lol.

How is everyone's planning going? I just started working on my STD design even though I do not officially have a date.

We met with our friend who is a Graphic Designer to work on a logo for us.  I want to try to do as much as possible myself which is kind of crazy since I am definitely not the DIY type but when I look at the cost of the items that I want to for my wedding, it blows me away.  I saw a non destination wedding invitation that was beautiful but it was $220.00 for 25.  Are they crazy?  How can people afford to get married if just the invitation alone can cost that much.  

 

I've been buying items for our OOT bags as I see them and it's items that I can add more if I need to they aren't "special" which is why I like that the bags don't have to match perfectly.

 

Is everyone having a bridal party?  I don't know what I am going to do yet.  I do not want anyone to feel obligated to go just because I want them to stand up with me.  It's such a weird situation that I will just have to see how I feel as everything gets nailed down.

Hola Ladies,

 

Planning is going well on this end.  I'm doing very little DIY projects.  Besides not being the DIY girl, my schedule along with my son's and bridesmaids just simply won't allow it.  However; there will be a few things like the welcome letter, oot bags and things based around that.  I'm a VP at a health center so some of my medical items will come from there as the time draws near.  I'm waiting for Sarah to get back to us with our logo and starter pdf file for our STD's and then go from there. How about others

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.
