Has Anyone Recently Used Cheaptotes?

I ordered the bags online. I went to my t-shirt guy (screen prints and embroiders for my school) and he said he could do it. Of course he didn't respond to my email, I had to call him, and he still didn't give me a quote. Instead wanted to chit chat. hahaha!  I like going through him though, he used to teach p.e. like me!

I just register my bags. They are thin but I expected that for the price. I took them to a local company for screenprinting...$2 a bag plus a $25 set up fee. A friend created themimage for me. I will post a picture when they are finished.

Hi, just wondering was the iron on project pricey? I know you mentioned budget but I'd love to know item by item how much it cost to construct the bags in total. I have beach bags from the Christmas Tree store and I'm considering returning them. One because I have more guess and I bought every bag they had, doubt they have more. Second because they look so empty with my small gifts and favors that I feel like I need a big staple item like a towel or t-shirt and my budget won't allow that.

Hey girls.... So I bought from Dollar tree these 19" Jumbo tote/beach bags which are phenominal!! I'm so happy with them. Anyways, here's the story... I have 108 of them because I only wanted the PINK ones and I had to order from the internet because the stores don't have them for more than A DAY WITHOUT SELLING OUT--- it's rediculous, I don't get it!! Sooooo my fiance is bugging me to get rid of the tote bags that I don't need or he is going to sell them on the corner for a nickel!

 

Total, I wound up paying a little over $1.50 for each bag, which I was very happy about because all the other bags I found, or didn't find were horrible and SMALL. I have the red, green and light blue ones, I sold all the yellow already and am using all the pink (but possibly might have SOME left over)

 

I just want to break even basically, sooooo if you do not have a dollar tree around you, they are SOLD OUT or just need to have these, please PM me. Here is a picture of the bags.... They are a canvas like material, have a front pocket and is huge for whatever you want to store in it.

These looks great.  Thanks for sharing.  I have a whole list of things I plan on buying from there.  Just waiting and waiting and waiting until it gets closer and I have a better estimate of the number of guests.

Your bags came out great. I am also looking into cheaptotes.com to buy our bags.  I guess I will stick with the .99 cent ones also.  Thanx for sharing

I bought our OOT bags from cheap totes and I think for the price they will work great!

DO NOT ORDER FROM CHEAPTOTES.COM! I had a bad experience with this company! Yes, they may be the cheapest company out there, but there is a reason! First of all, the bags are pretty much the lowest quality I have ever seen. Just a step above a paper bag and they look like they will fall apart any second. I had ordered these to use as our welcome bags for our guests and had a certain design that I wanted printed on them (which wasn't that elaborate). Wow! What a disappointment! First of all, the price QUICKLY goes up with any additional color that is in your design (I only had two). Secondly, I was sent a proof of what the bags would like with my design printed on them. It was pretty close to my design, but I had some concerns and they assured my they would change them and meet my needs. Had they said this wasn't possible, I NEVER would've placed my order with them. 

 

Now to the delivery....extreme dissapointment. There were at least 4 things on the bag that were wrong and did not match my design or description. Not to mention, I couldn't believe how truly "cheap" these bags look and feel...guess that explains their title! I emailed the person that I was working on the design with (the one who assured me they were able to meet my design needs) and it took a good week to get back to me! On the front end of the project (when they were trying to get my money) they were fairly quick with the responses and eager to get the project done. Yet as soon as I needed an issue resolved, it literally took forever to get any sort of response (we went back and forth several times). And I had to send 2-3 emails for every 1 that would get responded to in order for someone to get back to me. To no surprise at this point, the response was a big fat, "NO" on any money back or reprinting my bags. And I am now in a position of having to order these bags again from another company. 

 

Long story short....DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Unless you want your guests to feel like they are getting a very cheap bag, that they will most likely throw away. They have HORRIBLE customer service and no product garauntee. They may be the cheapest, but they are absolutely not worth a single penny.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. How frustrating! Will you be ordering other bags from somewhere else?
